Reading this statement from faceache, it doesn't sound like pilot error, done purposefully or a patsy scenario. Most likely cause will be tampering with control surfaces, it's the only quick and easy way to take a plane down short of explosives.

So what happened from my perspective that fine loaf. I woke up, Julian's twatter went dark early morning, maybe 5am or something UTC. Media were going nutz, and then the Navy posted "Julian Assange" (with quotations).
Shortly after all this debacle, hours after, Q dumps their load all over our faces that fine Christmas morning. Anons find a Kill_Rogue twatter, then Q goes dark.
No confirmation on that still, and stringers can be ciphers, not always to be taken literally. Kill_Rogue could mean anything, and as Q said future posts in the past? Or something like that.
