Research/study/essay with laundry list of reasons for sealed indictments in federal court. It appears that if a case is initially sealed, it is unsealed when the reason for their sealing expires. I understand there has been a very steep increase. But a person does not have the right to have all charges brought against them in a single indictment which could result in multiple indictments. Could speculate as to the nature of the indictments but I’ve got some Black Mirror episodes that aren’t going to watch themselves.
