Look, it's already Habbening.

Box office receipts are dismal. If it wasn't for Disney pumping out Marvel and Star Wars blockbusters with built-in revenue, Hollywood would be begging for yet-more subsidies. Piracy, direct-to-video streaming, and other innovations have gutted the profit margins.

On top of this, recent releases with "messages" have ABSOLUTELY TANKED. See: mother! and Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth 2. In the entertainment biz, you're only as good as your last picture performed. And with the social climate as it is right now, releasing anything "controversial" is deadly.

A boycott would add to the pain, but it's almost redundant, at this point. Their financial strings are getting cut, one by one.

It's one of the little things I pay attention to. I was in the entertainment industry for years. People are seriously freaking out in Hollyweird. I expect to see a seismic shift in industry in the next 18 months as stockholders start getting the bad, bad news.

Also, multi-million dollar payouts for sexual harassment don't help the bottom line. Investors look for stuff like that.

Wearing a wire? Begging for mercy? Informing? Delivering a message?

It's all very intriguing. But I'm certain that maximum leverage has been exerted upon her. Being the opportunist I believe her to be, she cut the best deal she could (she has a kid) once her "protection" from HRC became suspect. The Feds have her dead-to-rights. When it becomes clear that there is no rescue coming from the cabal, she'll squeal, if she hasn't already.
