It's sobering to think of, but I think a whole lot of people have had suicidal thoughts at one time or another. It's hardly surprising; this world has been growing darker and darker for a long time. It's a struggle to be positive and happy in the environment we've had. Multiply that when troubled personal relationships and/or health problems are involved. And few of us were brought up to be open about our troubles with anyone else, even if we're lucky enough to be close to someone.
