I am on point. Gen 6 is completely related to why the fallen angels are in prison, because of their rebellion against God.

Your question was: >OK so then what's the explanation for 1 Peter 3's "spirits in prison"? 2 Peter 2 - "Angels that sinned"? enlighten me.

Here is the definite answer to your question:

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Doesn't get any more clearer than that does it?

Or what about this:

(Isaiah 14:12-15) "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! {13} For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: {14} I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. {15} Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."

And of course one you've already quoted:

(2 Peter 2:4) "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;"

i.e. The angels rebelled against the Lord, which was a big sin, and he puts them in hell/the pit until judgement.

Unless you can clarify how exactly your question hasn't been answered, I don't see how I've proved your point.

Saying things like: >Anon - Stay on point

Doesn't do anything. Where was I off point? Explain, clarify, refute, rather then mock & insult.

Unless you are going to provide proper argument for your points as I have mine, then there is no point discussing this is there.
