That is the track of a plane where the pilot runs out of oxygen or has a heart attack. However, this aircraft is a 2016 Cirrus SR-22T and has an autopilot that automatically descends to safe oxygen altitude (10,000 ft) if pilot doesn't answer the autopilot. This feature HAD to be disabled as flight continued at FL190 like that. It is an always on feature. Very fishy to me. -planefag
Airspeed normal. FlightAware will show ground speed. That aircraft simply stopped transmitting (hiding) or went below radar coverage (19k/curve of earth), so dropped from radar without sign of descent or change in airspeed. My best guess if not a crash (I'll dig for ATC recordings) is aircraft was escaping to Mexico (Yucatan Peninsula).
Incorrect Anon.
Aircraft is registered to Abide Aviation, LLC located in Edmond, OK. Not "Edmond Company"
Dig on pilot names associated with Abide Aviation, LLC of Edmond, OK.
Gulf lost plane pilot was a local Doctor that like to fly around saving dogs (Reddit from local). Multiple sources have told KOCO 5 that the pilot was heading to Texas as part of an animal-rescue charity. Digging for Dr. John W. Kinsigner, MD with same address as aircraft registration. I think he's the missing pilot.
Correction. Dr. John W. Kinsinger, MD
My final dig on Gulf aircraft. Pilot is:

After an in-depth investigation leading to an exclusive interview, Dynamic Chiropractic has learned that John W. Kinsinger, MD, an anesthesiologist practicing in Edmond, Okla., is the man responsible for the creation of Neck911USA.com, an antichiropractic Web site allegedly run by "an international volunteer group of individuals" that consults people about complications resulting from neck manipulation.
Aircraft displayed behavior of a disabled (no oxygen or heart attack) pilot. However, I believe the 2016 Cirrus SR22T was equipped with Cirrus Perspective (Garmin) EAD (Emergency Automatic Decent) feature, which should have caused the aircraft to decsend from 19,000 feet to 14,500 feet, then to 12,500 feet automatically when the pilot was not responsive. That was NOT displayed on the flight log. The stable path of the aircraft was caused by the aircraft being on Autopilot, both Altitude and Heading mode. EAD should have kicked in. He may have be a target, escaping or suicided. I'll leave it to anons that track people to find anything about this individual.
Yes. Started a controversial anti-chiropractic site in 2005.
No Cirrus not pressurized. Above 10k pilot uses nasal cannula O2. Above 18k, pilot should use forced air mask. Not cold in plane. Has heater.
