There is not going to be a nuclear exchange. Though to be fair, people do need to have a more rational and survibor's mentality when it comes to the possibility of nuclear warfare. Many would be shocked and horrified to discover they didn't magically die in the primary explosion and that their struggles… that they aren't prepared for… just began.
