That was WAY out over the Gulf too. I didn't see the effective range of the SR22. But if they had been at FL250 they could have glided I suppose. Although it did say airspeed was 207. Strange. If they nosed over it would have been a lot faster than that.

Correct. Cirrus SR22. Privately owned.
It wouldn't be reported there. Not sure what to monitor to find something that far out other than Coast Guard.
Guard VHF: 141.5
Guard UHF: 243.0
Agreed. Thought that as well. Did you notice the airspeed? 207? 213 is max airspeed (powered flight). If they ran out of gas and it just nosed overโฆ..they'd pass Vne quickly from FL190 before impact. This is very strange.
Dude. Relax. If you think anyone that works that closely with POTUS gets this much time off, you're delusional.
Just chill and if you can't dig or lurk, then go do something else. You'll feel better for it. But stop with the whining, ok?
Agreed. The data we have doesn't make sense. There also wasn't a MAYDAY call. He's running. Might do a search on airliners.net for that tail code.See if it shows up in Cancun photos taken by anon photogs.
That's Russia Today. It IS tomorrow over there.

No it's not. It's in case they lose the engine in flight, can't restart and there isn't a safe place to land.
Used for braking during landing? It's not an F-4!
Hey you caught it. I didn't even check the date. Always good to have someone cross check. Good on you anon!
The other thing that stinks about this is the turn just before or at Georgetown. Maybe that was a turn point but I doubt it. I don't have access to IFR/ VFR charts anymore. Plus not sure I have all the details and if they're even true.
I will say thisโฆ.that SR22 has some legs!

Dude this is an SR22. It's a piston engine plane. Rollout after takeoff is something like 1500 feet. Read up on this airplane. The parachute IS NOT used for braking.
CORRECTION: Rollout after LANDINGโฆ.is approximately 1500 feet. Typo. My bad.
No worries. You were correct about that magnificent black beast though! If you ever get out to Omaha (I'm not from there but there too many times at the request of an 'uncle') check out the SAC Museum. You'll appreciate the display just inside the front door.
