AYE
poster implied the mods were comped on half chan. That was never established. We were filling a bread every fifteen minutes, were trolled, botted, beat to death and the bread was always moldy because of XXX and several others. It was gaining steam and shit got dirty when that "arab" guy was one character away from breaking the original trip code. He was testing for two days. Bakers Union was throwing out three threads at a time. It was just shit at the end.
Yes, there is better control here because we are not a main thread running through /pol. We are segregated and have our ENTIRE board. It is completely different. I don't always agree with everything and even at one point was banned, I hope by accident, but they do try harder because unlike just rando mods over on half, these guys stepped up and took on a task.
I still go, but it's tough. Half has always been a no mons land of "free speech and shenanigans" but it's become too high profile because of some other larps and of course Shia's fucking flag. It drew more shills and fakers just trying to keep it shut down and a horror show to drive people away.
Eh. real anons are never comfortable not knowing all the actions behind the curtains and as anons are our own worst enemies sometimes. It is how this world works, but its why we do what we do. It's why people flake on namefagging for recognizability etc. We drove some good people out just as we did bad. And we attracted a freaky fan club, but that was bound to happen. We have zero control over what is happening, but we do have some control over the nudging of the rest of the world as a gateway. I do not twitter about this. I do not Youtube about it, and I scrub through a lot of people that are lurking/helping and then are out in the world talking about it to see what the interpretations or misdirections are.
Depending on your comfort level with loss of anonymity, we have many options. And I have yet to see anything we cannot really talk about. Perhaps not in this thread, because (and I am guilty of it) we use it as the lounge rather that the collection point of our research. A lot of stuff should be out on other threads. But then that takes people out of the hot spot and I know why the do not want to go.
I didn't experience lies from VQC, except that math shit I couldn't follow but he had his own thread for it, and those deep geeks were into it. I went, I saw, I got a head ache, I left. eh.
Night all. Kids go back to school in a few hours and I'm whipped. I think today could be an interesting day and hell, every day can be if we are looking hard enough, right?!
