In 1919 EO 3702 created a military reservation in Panama called Corundu which included Fort Clayton, The Panama Arsenal, The Engineer Depot, and the Post of Corozal.
in 1934 the EO 6713 redefined the boundaries to include Albrook Field AFB.
In 1999 the Corundu military reservation was returned to Panama.
After the base was returned to Panama the Marcos A. Gelabert" International Airport was relocated to Albrook AFB.
