Teresa Heinz is the widow of John Heinz, III, heir to the Heinz Ketchup fortune and a well-respected philanthropist and business woman in her own right.
Years after her husband, a beloved PA senator, was killed in a tragic helicopter crash, she married then SenatorJohn Kerry of MA.
Mrs. Heinz retained both her name and her fortune in a prenup with Kerry. She also retained and continued her membership in the Republican Party - even through Kerry's run for the presidency in 2004. She still goes by the name Teresa Heinz to this day. She only added Kerry when political circumstances dictated. Didn't Q advise us to cherchez la femme?
I’m surprised the link between the Heinz and Trump families was never made in the run up to the 2016 election. Another item they hold in common is that the children of John & Teresa Heinz and DJT are known to be personable, smart and well regarded patriots.
