My 2p (I am a Brit) Leon Brittan may have been falsely accused of being a paedo during the Saville era through smear rumours spread by MI6. Not to say there weren't paedos back then in Thatch's govt, but they were naming the wrong ones. So it is possible one of the Bushes was not as evil as they say… open mind.
