What about the effects of cognitive dissonance. I could only imagine a few individuals I know coming to terms with these types of things. Not only would they refuse the concepts, they would violently defend their truths.
These experiences are from the lense of me trying to explain the taboos lets all them to non-receptive individuals. The results might go in favor of Truth if people could finally let go and be free of the lie via disclosure.
