Well I assume what ever it is that they are using isn't anything we know about, like the guy said on infowars a week ago, it's a conventional weapon never used before.
Hence we thought rods from god, or maybe they can create a pulse without the nuke part but I guess we will find out soon.
I am guessing NK has a pretty old grid, maybe the artillery has phone lines , but we would just need to block any orders from Kim to tell them to start shelling SK.

Yes I had a lightning strike a tree by my house and it took out several hubs and computer items and not by voltage they were behind protection. I am sure it fried some coils.
