my ID (and everybody else's) changed in another thread despite having a static IP, a few days ago - probably when codemonkey was tweaking the site

 

the BO and mods cannot see IP, only hash

this probably changed at the same time as above

our IP addresses would still be the same but the hash that gets created may be different due to the tweaks

the BO said it's a fake Q because the IP was different (when he can only see the hash that is produced)

yes, codemonley would be able to verify if the IP is the same

 

anybody that still has the same IP as a week ago, go post in a thread you posted in then and see if your ID is the same
