The thing nobody has considered (at least not that I've seen) is that the super secure trip may create more problems than it solves. You've pointed out a few and I'll add another. The last time the trip was changed it created a clustercuck that had to be over come because it did not work across all the devices that Q needs to use. Could be even more complicated now.
Q can contact the BO if he chooses, if he don't, trust he knows best. There are wiser forces at work here than what we need to be worried about.
