I'm not the BO. That said, I have been a forum admin, forum moderator (both on a 501(c)3 forum) and a forum owner (different forum).

 

So, they're different, but certainly similar. Admins for sure can see IP's. Board members can't. Our members had to be certified to go past basic areas, and had to sign in as well. I'm 99.99% sure clowns watched the forum. But, they didn't access much. Access is kept local. So, the admins can see your IP's, and probably the mods too. The rest can't, period.
