In a low food situation, fast for as many days as you can before eating any carbs (at least 5 days, up to 40), then eat for 1 or more days and then fast again. Do NOT eat every day. Eating every day, your body will never get into ketosis, which is survival mode. Instead, you will be in starvation mode and die sooner.
