What I mean is that Jesus Christ is the only one who has already defeated the adversary. The Word tells us that if you ask anything in His name it shall be done. The devil knows he's been defeated and must obey.
In the epistles, folks tried to cast out demons, but the demons laughed at them and said who are you we don't know you. But when a born again one cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ they obeyed. It works everytime, it has worked everytime throughout time.
In times where you are being attacked by a demon/devil spirit I would think you would want to know for sure what works and what doesn't. You're not necessarily thinking…oh wow what an adventure! Right?

There's a guy, not sure if you've heard of him, Stew Webb. He was married to a daughter of a Satanist, connected to the Bush's.
Stew's been fighting these guys for more than 30 years. They've tried to kill him about 4 times now.
There's a utube of him talking about how he was attacked by baphomet (he said it looked just like him). It came into his house at night while he and wife were sleeping. She recognized it, she'd been subjected to rituals and seen it. She was very abused.
Anyway, he commanded it in the name of Jesus Christ to leave and it scurried right out of his house.
There's a reason why the devil doesn't want people to come to know about Jesus Christ! Just recently the pope had said that it was dangerous to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ. Wonder who's side he's on?
