Been researching federal indictments, since my popcorn has gone stale waiting for arrests to occur.

Federal indictments are not initiated by a grand jury. They usually come after an arrest has been made, but in more complicated cases they are often initiated before an arrest. I can't find any info pertaining to the duration of a federal indictment, in terms of how long an indictment can remain valid and actionable. Does anyone know? There must be a set time frame. It doesn't strike me as constitutional to have an indictment be in place against a named party or parties for an infinite period.

The arrests must be happening soon, but we've all been thinking that for a month now.

Federal indictments do not come from a grand jury. That is what differentiates them from state indictments.

A federal indictment is an accusation of a crime, the number of counts, and a description of the unlawful activity. It is brought by a prosecutor in the U.S. Dept. of Justice, not a grand jury.

Can you tell me what case in Cali you are referring to… the recent one? And are you serious about his sealed indictment languishing for TWO YEARS?

Our nation doesn't have two years left unless these fuckers are rounded up.

Thank you, anon, for the info in those screencaps.

Coming to terms with the fact that those indictments may never see the light of day. Putting my popcorn outside for the birds.

If there is an EBS announcement, it is likely to be transmitted over cellular networks as well as television and radio. Note the AMBER alert system.
