DMT would break down very rapidly without an MAOi on board so I don’t think that’s something people would get off on from blood. Besides, it’s a hell of a lot more desirable to extract DMT from Acacia or Mimosa roots than to kill someone for it. Another possibility is GHB which is produced at death. But I agree the evidence that Adrenchrome has euphoric or desirable psychoactive properties is weak at best. Still, there could be some unknown phenylethylamine derivative released at death that these sick fuckers are after.
