Pretty simple, here. GS rigs elections, needs to go down for treason. The well has been poisoned against Trump and the 2016 election in the public eye, and we know the white hats want to deprogram people. Rather than take GS down over the 2016 election, where it can look like political revenge or covering for whatever, let them steal this relatively trivial election and catch them for it.
Notice how cordial Trump was about the win? He's playing neutral. We all know that if there was no trick up POTUS' sleeve, he would have railed against the baby killer after his win last night.
