The example I use to educate normies is that of the Sex Pistols, i.e. The original 'punk' boys band…built from scratch by a seedy manager (McLaren, prolly intel) who picked unrelated hapless chaps…dressed 'em up…poor sods didn't even play their instruments (!)…had pros filling in at the studio (Chris Spedding on guitar…they expect us to believe Steve Jones learned to play these riffs in 3 months)…manufactured a scandal by getting them to swear on TV…etc etc.
Very effective with musicians.
