Could the USS McCain collision relate to why they don't like to use McCain's name?
And it might explain too why they would say flysidfly to refer to McCain instead of saying McCain. That of course is if by saying sid Q isn't meaning Sid Rosenthal or some other Sid. Just some thoughts.
