The election WAS supposed to be rigged - what's not discussed in the above statement is when the "unthinkable" was internally leaked.
My guess is that the Patriots leaked this before voting started to properly freak out the deep state and whip them into shape.

They thought it was a lock even without rigging measures, but by the time they realized they were fucked and tried to swing things last minute, they were too late and Trump won, fair-ish and square.
