I know there's.. 'bad people' in here. I think it's important, speaking from experience, that lost sheep who've never been shown the light their entire lives are not at fault. Dis-info agents and such. Thankfully I was shown the light early.. but not all have been..

Obviously, that doesn't apply to all.. but crazy people aren't aware that they're crazy. That's the effed up thing with mental illness. We don't make excuses for them, but we don't execute them either. They're literally not sane.. as in.. reality escapes them. Sometimes heavily abused people 'lose it'. They 'appear' normal, but they're completely nuts.

So I'm just going to throw that out there. God talks about forgiveness.. though pure and intentional evil… Hmmm…

The first letter is likely a G but could also be a stylized C or E. The final two characters are a slightly different color or weight than the rest. It's unlikely that they are Ts as the center line of the character is too far to the right, even if it is in italics. The bottom of the final character is different from the preceding one, so they are not likely to be the same character.

In the middle of the word there are two characters that look similar, but they are unlikely to be Ns because there is too much mass in the center of each; they could be Ms or stylized Ws. The rest are tough to see.

Acquisition of Belo Corporation

On June 13, 2013, Gannett announced plans to buy Dallas-based Belo Corporation for $1.5 billion and the assumption of debt. The purchase would add 20 additional stations to Gannett's portfolio and make the company the fourth largest television broadcaster in the U.S. with 43 stations.[22][23] Because of ownership conflicts that exist in markets where both Belo and Gannett own television stations and newspapers, the use of a third-party company (Sander Media, LLC, owned by former Belo executive Jack Sander) as a licensee to buy stations to be operated by the owner of a same-market competitor and concerns about any possible future consolidation of operations of Gannett- and Belo-owned properties in markets where both own television stations or collusion involving the Gannett and Sander stations in retransmission consent negotiations, anti-media-consolidation groups (such as Free Press) and pay television providers (such as Time Warner Cable and DirecTV) have called for the FCC to block the acquisition.[24][25]

On December 16, 2013, the United States Department of Justice announced that Gannett, Belo, and Sander would need to divest Belo's station in St. Louis, KMOV, to a government-approved third-party that would be barred from entering into any agreements with Gannett, in order to fully preserve competition in advertising sales with Gannett-owned KSDK.[26] The deal was approved by the FCC on December 20,[27] and it was completed on December 23.[28] On February 28, 2014, Meredith Corporation officially took over full control of KMOV.[29]

Acquisition of London Broadcasting Company stations

On May 14, 2014, Gannett announced the acquisition of six stations from the Texas-based London Broadcasting Company in a $215 million deal, including KCEN-TV (NBC) in Waco-Temple-Bryan, KYTX (CBS) in Tyler-Longview, KIII (ABC) in Corpus Christi, KBMT (ABC/NBC) in Beaumont-Port Arthur, KXVA (FOX) in Abilene-Sweetwater and KIDY (FOX) in San Angelo. The company's COO Phil Hurley will also join Gannett to continue his leadership role at the six stations.[30] The acquisition was completed on July 8, 2014; in total, Gannett stations now serve 83% of households in the state.[31] Post acquisition, Gannett now outright owns and operates their first Fox affiliates, KIDY & KXVA.

Split and further deals

On August 5, 2014, Gannett announced that it plans to split into two independent publicly traded companies, one focusing on its newspapers and publishing, which will retain the Gannett name, and one on broadcasting. Robert Dickey—who currently leads Gannett's newspaper group—will serve as CEO of the former company, leaving Gannett's remaining broadcasting and digital operations under the leadership of Martore. In a statement, she explained that the split plans were "significant next steps in our ongoing initiatives to increase shareholder value by building scale, increasing cash flow, sharpening management focus, and strengthening all of our businesses to compete effectively in today's increasingly digital landscape." Additionally, the company announced that it would buy out the remainder of Classified Ventures—a joint venture between Gannett and several other media companies, for $1.8 billion, giving it full ownership of properties such as Cars.com.[32][33] On April 21, 2015, Gannett announced that the publishing arm would continue to use the Gannett name, while the broadcasting and digital company would be named Tegna—an anagram of Gannett.[34] The split was completed on June 29, 2015. The split was structured so that the old Gannett changed its name to Tegna, and then spun off its publishing interests as a "new" Gannett Company.

On October 7, 2015, Gannett struck a deal to buy the Journal Media Group for $280 million, giving it control of publications in over 100 markets in the Midwestern and Southern U.S. Similar to what Gannett had earlier done with its broadcasting assets, the Milwaukee-based Journal had separated its publishing and broadcasting arms in April 2015, with the E. W. Scripps Company acquiring the television and radio properties owned by the former's technical predecessor Journal Communications and spinning out their respective publishing operations into Journal Media Group.[35] In December 2015, Gannett announced that its local newspapers would be branded as the "USA Today Network", signifying a closer association with the national USA Today paper.[36]

In April 2016, Gannett made an unsolicited bid to acquire the Tribune Publishing Company for $12.25 per-share, or around $400 million. This deal was rejected by Tribune's shareholders in May 2016; in turn, Gannett increased its offer to around $15 per-share (around $800 million). Although the two companies held talks during the summer and into the fall of 2016, disappointing earning reports for Gannett for the second and third quarters of 2016 caused Gannett to pull out of talks on November 1.[37][38][39][40]

Belo Corporation /ˈbiːloʊ/ was a Dallas-based media company that owned 20 commercial broadcasting television stations and two regional 24-hour cable news television channels. The company was previously known as A. H. Belo Corporation after one of the early owners of the company, Alfred Horatio Belo, now the name of the newspaper company spun off from Belo early in 2008. Belo had its headquarters in the Belo Building in Downtown Dallas, designed by Dallas architects Omniplan and constructed between 1983 and 1985.[3]

Looking for other angles of attack here…

This is a printout of a website that has a menu along the left side. The sections of the menu have red backgrounds. The box on the right of the article where the publication name appears again is probably one of those "no fair you use ad block" cry boxes.

This is going to be tough but what could be done is to find the image of the two people in the article. Background is a white male with dark short hair wearing a black shirt or blazer, maybe a black tie also? Foreground is a female with darker skin than the male, brown or red long hair, wearing a white blouse or dress with green arms, possible light color stripes or pattern on the arm. They are posing for a photo with some sort of light colored background behind them, maybe a movie premiere red carpet situation?

Then, once that image of the couple is found reverse search it and look for the website.

He is the chairman and CEO of BlackRock, an American multinational investment management corporation.[3] BlackRock is the largest money-management firm in the world with more than $6 trillion in assets under management.[4]

Early life and education

Fink grew up in a Jewish family[5] in Van Nuys, California, where his mother was an English professor and his father owned a shoe store.[4] He earned a BA in Political Science from UCLA in 1974.[2] Fink is also a member of Kappa Beta Phi.[6] He then received an MBA in Real Estate at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management in 1976.[2][7]

Fink started his career in 1976 at First Boston, a large New York-based investment bank. Eventually taking charge of First Boston's bond department, Fink was instrumental in the creation and development of the mortgage-backed security market in the United States.[8] At First Boston, Fink was a member of the Management Committee, a Managing Director, and co-head of the Taxable Fixed Income Division; he also started the Financial Futures and Options Department, and headed the Mortgage and Real Estate Products Group.[9]

Fink added as much as $1 billion to First Boston’s bottom line. He was successful at the bank until 1986, when his department lost $100 million due to his incorrect prediction about where interest rates were headed.[4] The experience influenced his decision to start a company that would invest clients' money while also incorporating comprehensive risk management as well.[4]

In 1988, Fink co-founded BlackRock under the corporate umbrella of The Blackstone Group and became a Director and CEO of BlackRock. When BlackRock split from Blackstone in 1994, Fink retained his positions (as Director and CEO), which he continued to hold after BlackRock became more independent in 1998. His other positions at the company have included Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Executive and Leadership Committees, Chair of Corporate Council, and Co-Chair of the Global Client committee.[4][9] BlackRock went public in 1999.[10]

In 2003, Fink helped to negotiate the resignation of the CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, Richard Grasso, who was being widely criticized for his $190 million pay package.[4] In 2006 Fink led the merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which doubled BlackRock’s asset management portfolio.[2] That same year, BlackRock's $5.4 billion purchase of Stuyvesant Town–Peter Cooper Village, a Manhattan housing complex, became the largest residential-real-estate deal in U.S. history. When the project ended in default, BlackRock clients lost their money, including the California Pension and Retirement System, which lost about $500 million.[4] The U.S. government contracted with BlackRock to help clean up after the financial meltdown of 2008. Although BlackRock is widely believed to have been the best choice for the cleanup job,[11] Fink's longstanding relationships with senior government officials have led to questions about potential conflict of interest regarding government contracts awarded without competitive bidding.[4]

In December 2009, BlackRock purchased Barclays Global Investors, at which point the company that Fink co-founded 22 years previously became the largest money-management firm on the planet.[4] Despite his great influence, he is not widely known for that influence, apart from his regular appearances on CNBC.[4] BlackRock paid Fink $23.6 million in 2010.[12] By 2016, BlackRock had $5 trillion under management, with 12,000 employees in 27 countries.[13][14]

Most recently, Fink received the 2016 ABANA Achievement Award in New York City. The ABANA Achievement Award recognizes an individual who exemplifies outstanding leadership in banking and finance and who has displayed a proven commitment to positive professional cooperation between the US and the Middle East and North Africa. ABANA Chairperson Mona Aboelnaga Kanaan pointed out that this is only the second time in thirty years that ABANA, founded in 1983 as the “Arab Bankers Association of North America,” has given the award to a non-Arab recipient.

Community involvement

Fink serves on the board of trustees of New York University, where he holds various chairmanships including chair of the Financial Affairs Committee. He also co-chairs the NYU Langone Medical Center board of trustees and is a trustee of the Boys and Girl's Club of New York. Fink is also on the board of the Robin Hood Foundation.[16] Fink founded the Lori and Laurence Fink Center for Finance & Investments at UCLA Anderson[17] in 2009, and currently serves as chairman of the board.[citation needed]

In December 2016, Fink joined a business forum assembled by then president-elect Donald Trump to provide strategic and policy advice on economic issues.[18]

Oh.. it's a "venture philanthropy" org. Nice name.

History

Founded in 1988, Robin Hood was conceived by hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones. Peter Borish was also a founding board member of the organization.[6][7]

The foundation combines investment principles and philanthropy to assist programs that target poverty in New York City. In 2006, the board of directors included such names as Jeffrey Immelt, Diane Sawyer, Harvey Weinstein, Marie-Josee Kravis, Lloyd Blankfein, of Goldman Sachs, Richard S. Fuld, Jr., formerly of Lehman Brothers, Glenn Dubin, of Highbridge Capital, Marian Wright Edelman and actress Gwyneth Paltrow.[8]

Funding for the organization's activities comes from donations and fund raising efforts. In 2009, George Soros gave the foundation a US$50 million contribution. The money reportedly helped the organization raise significantly more than that amount.[9] In 2001 The Concert for New York City provided funds for the organization. After Hurricane Sandy, the 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief concert also provided funds for the foundation's efforts.[10] Artists including The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation, Shakira, John Legend, The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, The Who and Aerosmith have performed at the group's annual fund raising galas.

In 2017, Robin Hood appointed author and veterans advocate Wes Moore as its CEO. Moore grew up in poverty in the Bronx before becoming a Rhodes scholar at the University of Oxford, a paratrooper and captain in the 82nd Airborne, and investment banker at Citigroup. Moore succeeds David Saltzman who was the Executive Director since co-founding the organization.[11]
