I don't talk about it much, and won't. This is probably the most I've ever said, other than to significant other, who also has it.
Some phenomena can occur.
Intense bonding to similar others.
Other things.
Sometimes powerful energy magnification when collaborating.
"Kindling" of others' energy.
Took me a long time to decide it's not incompatible with Christian faith.
'Cause even after accepting Christ, even after ignoring it for years, it didn't go away.
You perceive it in your body.
As well as elsewhere.
A rush. A tingle. An energy moving. A stream or power.
They say "chakras" and identify specific energy centers; have perceived most of them clearly, a few, well, not so much.
Some traditions "open" the chakras, one at a time, as the student is ready. The master's focused energy does this.
It is NOT sex or sexual, but is widely misunderstood in popular usage. Another reason not to talk about it → people might infer that you are a sex fiend, when nothing could be further from the truth.
It grows.
You might perceive it expanding beyond your body. Way beyond. WAY beyond.
It connects to…call it God…call it Divine Energy… Doesn't need a name. A power.
That connection, when you feel it, is so intense and powerful and unique, but subjective, that it cannot be dismissed. Nor can it be proven to anybody but yourself. You KNOW in your bones that it's real, and that's enough.
Energy can flow in both directions.
It changes you.
Things happen that you have no prior experience with. Things that (in some cases severely) test your maturity.
You maybe learn to call it up.
Maybe mediate with it.
Maybe some are able to focus and channel it in a specific way or purpose.
Some traditions use it for healing: like beaming the energy at others, or into food/drink. Or clearing energy blockages that other people have. Or yourself.
There are people who teach this.
There are also people who misuse this.
It is a documented phenomenon. Books have been written, some of them B.S. and others okay. Some people who wrote books had a very bad time with it, presumably because of the state of their karma, so not all books are to be taken at face value.
Something like it is present in numerous mystical traditions.
I knew one man who trained as a Catholic priest, and he stated that when the priest blesses the communion offering, this is exactly what they do and they know they are doing it. He quit seminary, never told us why, and became a Kundalini master.
Some acknowledge it happens but say just ignore it; they say certainly don't get attached to it.
To others, it's central to their religious practice.
Have also seen it in several advanced martial artists. Especially Tai Chi and Aikido where they focus on raising the chi and develop deep bodily awareness. Have seen it in "hard" martial arts too though.
I have some theories about what the energy actually "is" and how it relates to things physicists are able to measure (and not measure). I'd have to bring some physics background into that kind of discussion, and that's where people's eyes glaze over and they stop listening. So I won't. Cause over the years I tried explaining something about 4x in QR and there was zero response. 4x.
And it really bugs me to hear people talking about how "spiritual" they are or about muh "densities". The moon doesn't say, "I am the moon." Putting words into something wordless sort of cheapens and diminishes it.
It's something private, probably safest not to discuss at all. Just do it, be it, use it, be grateful for it.
Love you, frens.
