MIL should be coming out within the next few days.
Wife anon and I still about the same… her still wanting to leave… So far this year has not been very good.

Still not giving up… but keeping the candle lit in the darkest part of a storm is the hardest test.
Sometimes you just gotta learn when to shut the fuck up and say nothing no matter how much the words want to come out of your mouth. lol…
I always want to fix things when something's wrong, always want to make it better as quick as possible… It's selfish, unfair, and plain wrong of me to blame her for not being able to do so in the moment. Instead I should be meeting her needs of wanting space before something blows up instead of selfishly trying to fulfill my own. In that respect, I've failed at being the husband I used to be, and the one she deserves. But I am learning.
Being able to admit when you're wrong is the one of the strongest character traits someone can have.
In my attempts to make things better in the past, I've hurt her emotionally without intent. I've only come to realize this within the last few months and I've not had the chance to sit down with her and tell her this…
I've prayed every day waiting for the opportunity to tell her, but I hope it's not too late to turn things around.
