You're stuck on a (almost) deserted island with up to 4 girls. Essentially it's a bigger, better remake of Illusion's first big hit, Artificial Girl 2. You collect, craft, construct, and coitus your own little paradise.

Your mileage may vary based on what you're looking for in your 3d hentai games. There's more gameplay to this than HS or KK. You do have to collect things to build and keep your 4 girl harem happy & healthy. There's also a story mode that you need to complete in order to unlock all girl slots & areas. Sex positions are area contextual and less in number that HS or KK. There's also no "Free-H" mode either.
In short, if you want a quick wank fest, stick with HS or KK's free sex mode. If you're looking for something with more in-depth girl bonding & COMFY gameplay, try out AI Girl.

About on par with HS. Relatively realistic girls with a heavy emphasis on Asian facial features. There's less modded stuff ATM due to the game being relatively new along with the Illusion mod scene having a civil war going on.

This game just made me want AG3 again, this game isn't nearly as comfy as that game was. One Anon was telling me this game is more of a spiritual successor to AG2 as opposed to AG3, so I guess there's still hope for a true sequel, but in the meantime I guess I'll go back and play AG3 for the trillionth time.
Friendly Advisement
R2.3 is out but if you notice when applying those sweet scripts that really let you do what you want in the game, many of them no longer work. It's not the repack's fault, it's because Illusion's updates to the main game (1.0.5).
I recommend 2.1 in the meantime which uses 1.0.3. The game was as stable as it gets by that point anyway and there wasn't anything major added beteeen 2.2 or 2.3.
You bitch is sick, exhausted, or maybe both. She'll stay in bed for over 12 hours. Collect stuff to craft to pass the time. Or you can head to the capsule in the forest, grab the battery lying just to the right of it, and then activate a new bitch with the data terminal. More bitches equals more exp to move the story points along.
Several fixes for a girl not eating/drinking the right things:
Put the hot water in your kitchen food storage, not your regular storage. Food storage can be accessed by interacting with your "cooking" countertop. Girls only eat/drink stuff from there.
Give her hot water directly by using the "Give item" command when talking to her.
You can also advise her to drink something. Be sure that only hot water or coffee is available in your kitchen storage. Otherwise she'll do something dumb like drink red fruit juice or rover water.
You'll discover name of a crafting recipe by having the right amount of items in your inventory or storage. You can still see what items are required to "unlock" a recipe without the right amount of ingredients just by clicking on the ???? of the recipe.
Girls' exp grows slowly over time by them doing stuff like foraging & interacting with the world. You can speed this up by talking to them, giving them presents and of course having sex with them.
You must not have unlocked the pouch expansion crafting recipes. There are four different pouch expansions with different requirements for each. However, each one does require a torn bag for starters. You can make the four pouches in any order and they give you five extra slots each.

That's it for now. There is the mysterious "Map 4" subfolder folder in the custom housing folder. Map 1 is for the beach & forest map lots. Map 2 is for the bigger ruins lot. Map 3 is for the housing island. So where does Map 4 go to? It's probably there for a future expansion.
what's the best way to acquire carbon or resin?
They're random drops, which you find more of in the ruins. You can also craft them. But carbon is VERY resource intensive, so it's quicker & easier to randomly scavage and hope for the best. The broken battery by the playground in the ruins has a scavage point in front of it that gives good carbon drops.
why can't I use the well?
No well water for U! It's for girls only to acquire drinking water. You're just going to have to craft drinking water the ol' fashioned way. Or just skip wasting cotton & river water by making hot water, red fruit juice and coffee.
Early on my second playthrough, I hit a snag with cotton. My first cotton plant didn't give me a seed, only two cotton balls. Also I wasn't picking up any cotton seeds around the first area's scavenging spots. So I was in a real bind to give my girl proper drinking water. She had to sip on hot water until the story point at the bridge opened up.

I believe so. Haven't touched it myself as I don't have VR. There's an Orthographic camera mod as well as a FP mod as well.
Also, for those bitching about how flat the gameplay is, there's a new HARDCORE mod that really makes the game a lot more dynamic. The MC has to eat & rest. If the girl gets too tired, she has a chance of losing all her hearts, etc.

I've been wanting something like this since I played Sims 2: Castaway. Although it doesn't actually seem to have much substance and the base building started out looking cool from a survival standpoint to becoming pointless.( I've turned one of the bases into just collection points and never have a shortage of materials now.) Almost done with the story(I think) and I've already gotten everything my girl could need plus a somewhat working house and fields growing everything I need. I was kinda expecting more survival, sure I could use hardcore(I did for a couple hours) but it doesn't really add that much except for the need to sleep. I've yet to get a second girl though, mostly because I'm afraid of my frames dropping below 15, which is my average by the way. Anyone got any good tips to increase fps, I've done everything I could think of but it doesn't seem to do much.

2.3 quad core, yeah thats bad and I know it. But I'm also using a nearly 10 year old laptop, and I'm not getting an upgrade just so I can play porn better. I've always hated unity mind you, it always seems to run poorly even when I did have a good computer(Which wasn't actually mine but fucker wouldn't sell it to me so whatever.) But at the same time, Unity seems to run better then their old engine they used for illusion games which although I can play those games, outside of AA2 I'd barely getting 30 fps. Hopefully they'll patch in more optimizations but I doubt it'll make that much of a difference.

I want to say that every game before HaremMate used an unknown engine, presumably their own. It hates windows 10 of course and even on 7 it has many problems, often running poorly when you're using specs far better then the recommend. The only reason AA2 runs so well for me is well, a very dedicated group of modders who managed to fix many of the engine's flaws and terrible compression method. Teatime games also use their own custom engine(Maybe it's the same though it's hard to tell with Japanese games) And their games famously run terribly even now on modern hardware. So I don't think the problem is the engine per say, but rather the Japanese eroge developers can't optimize to save their lives.
There's a slightly hidden door in the town ruins area that unlocks once you get the power running again and it leads to another door that opens with two switches that have to be stood on at the same time (meaning bring a girl with you, stupid). What is the point of accessories? At first I thought they had effects on your characters like a hat keeping them cool when it is sunny out or bags adding to the pouch but they don't seem to do anything so what is the point when you can just add the same items in during character creation?
Overall I'm happy to see some improvements from the base formula for Illusion's work but I wish so many nice outfits, accessories and hairstyles weren't removed to get there, though at least there is something resembling gameplay now. If they can add some of the battle stuff into the main game and bring back old content I might actually purchase a key.

Yeah, it's a fun enough game to mess around with but performance is truly irredeemable and ruins the whole experience. Trying to make a house from scratch is a nightmare and I don't know how the nips muster the autism to work with the sub-10 FPS this game drops to when you try to making anything more than a two storey house.

It's not like other engines are immune from devs not putting in the effort. I've seen plenty of people throwing something out in UE that has the HDR settings fucked so bad the game will constantly switch between eye melting brightness and teenage poetry levels of darkness.
Illusion's garbage performance is usually because they have no fucking idea what even the most basic sort of culling or LOD handling is.

Furthermore I can set graphics as low as I want to. The engine simply can't handle more than 10 polys at 40fps.
The only excuse I heard so far was "muh Cities Skylines" and that only uses few polys, no collisions or anything complicated, doesn't rely on the engine much and suffers from typical unity shit.

I'd say the gameplay is still better than the last few entries which were, at best, visual novels. Though the weird fucking card strategy game thing from Honey Select was pretty crazy.
Hopefully Honey Select 2 has all the improvements from this game and all the content from the previous games, wouldn't hold my breath though. Wonder what would've happened if that one Sexy Beach game with all the minigames and combat had been successful.

I love it when people who have no idea about the subject pretend to know what a good and bad engine is. Most noobs who make unity games have no clue how to optimise GetComponent calls and use shitty engine features like the terrain system that don't work. The result is a game with +20ms frame time because the main thread takes so long. This results in low framerates but more importantly the very delayed feeling that this game is suffering from. I don't like unity and their sales model and their tendency to never finish engine features but i have written demos with it that run pretty well.
I've DLed AI Shoujo and Honey Select, I like Honey Select a bit more but I'm kinda pissed they don't have the position where the girl lays down on her stomach and gets fucked from the back, this is one of my favorites, is there any patches or anything for more positions?
AIShoujo is a little hard on my machine to play and it seems like a bunch of quest fetching. Even loaded up a 100% save and found a girl and she was like I don't feel like talking about "naughty".

Why in the fuck did the game default all the scale sliders when I saved it and started a game with the girl I created? I spent more time than I care to admit making the perfect loli and fighting the sliders to get some DFC going in a game that clearly wants you to make nothing but titty monsters only for it to fuck it all up once I got ingame. At least I got a screenshot before I finished it but man that pisses me off, is there any way to stop it from doing that? Those scale sliders are pretty necessary in making a loli body type.
So I crafted the first pouch expansion item (Spare pouch 1 or something) and went to the character sheet to apply it. Hit the blue box with the plus mark, but the inventory that opens is empty so I can't apply the expansion.
Checked and the crafting menu says I do have one of them, so no idea what's happening, anyone with advice?

The game is basically Artificial Girl 4. Not sure why they gave it a new title. As far as gameplay differences, there's some minor dialogue, you have more control over H and there's a silly home building mechanic. As for screenshots outside of sex, I'm sure you can find that sort of thing on youtube.
I really dont understand why these "repacks" have to be so damn full of useless clutter, like most if not all of the clothing/tattoo/accessory mods are just.. useless junk. The ones in vanilla look better and fit the theme more allready unless you desperately want to play as the Neptune or something but still the repacker decides to put that shit in to bloat the size.

Is anyone familiar running the repack through WINE? The base game runs fairly well out of the box, but all the character models in the character creator are pitch black. This is fixed by adding DXVK through winetricks but then the mod loader crashes on boot, not even disabling DXVK while it's still installed helps because the game refuses to run without it enabled once it's installed.
