10 people indicted on human trafficking charges in Fulton County
ATLANTA — Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr has announced that a Fulton County grand jury has indicted 10 people on human trafficking charges.
The Attorney General’s Office’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit say one man, Steven Stone, is charged with human trafficking by keeping and transporting an underage person and financially benefitting from their sexual servitude.
The other nine defendants are charged with trafficking by solicitation.

The Attorney General says all 10 indictments come from Operation Not Forgotten 2020, which saw 26 missing children rescued from human trafficking and 13 more were found safe over a span of two weeks.
“At the Department of Law, we take seriously our role to protect our fellow Georgians and prosecute those who victimize our most vulnerable citizens,” said Carr.
After taking on her role as First Lady of Georgia, Marty Kemp assisted in the creation of the GRACE Commission, which combats human trafficking in Georgia.
“Before we took office, Brian and I decided that we were going to do everything in our power to bring the fight to buyers and traffickers so that they know Georgia is a hostile environment for this activity and a safe haven for survivors,” said Kemp.
During Operation Not Forgotten 2020, the underage victim involved in this case was rescued.

Stone faces three charges of trafficking persons for sexual servitude and could face up to three life sentences if convicted.

As the US shamelessly attempts to fan the flames of conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the diplomatic leaders in the two countries, and across Europe, are working to come to a resolution that avoids a catastrophic war.
With the arbitration of Germany and France, Russia and Ukraine have even been able to agree on a temporary ceasefire, buying them more time to settle their differences without any bloodshed.
Noticeably absent from the “tough” negotiations was the US.
Despite the progress that has been made between the two sides, Biden and the Warhawks pulling his strings refuse to back down from their irrational ultimatum that promises an all-out war if Russia does not allow Ukraine to join NATO.
Even after the two countries agreed to uphold the ceasefire, Biden called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to warn him about impending doom, baselessly claiming, “Kyiv could be “sacked,” and that Russian forces may attempt to occupy it at any time.
“Prepare for impact,” Biden fabricated out of thin air – seemingly unaware of the treaty signed just one day earlier between the two countries.
On Friday, President Zelensky was asked about the ominous phone call during a press conference in Kyiv, and he did not seem to appreciate Biden’s warmongering fear porn.
Zelensky slammed Biden over his baseless warnings, essentially telling Biden to stay out of it – Ukraine can handle itself.
“I am the President of Ukraine. I am based here. I think I know the details deeper than any other President, the question is not about the US president,” Zelensky pointed out after diplomatically thanking the US for their support.
Zelensky continues:
“We do understand what the risks are, and which of those risks are a priority. It’s important that [Biden] should know the situation from me, not from the intermediaries.
People need to be here to understand all of the details.”
One thing is for sure, Ukraine is not our fight to fight, particularly when our own country’s house is in such disarray and the countries that are directly involved seem to be working things out despite the attempted intervention by the Biden regime.
A war between the two nations is by no means imminent, as the media and the corrupt DC Swamp would like everyone to believe, no matter how much Biden pushes for it to happen.
Russia and Ukraine are set to resume peace negotiations in two weeks in Berlin, and once again they will meet without the US sitting at the table.

Serge Monast (1945 – December 5, 1996) was a Québécois investigative journalist, poet, essayist. He is known to English-speaking readers mainly for Project Blue Beam (NASA).[1]

In the 1970s and 1980s, Monast was a journalist, poet and essayist. He was an active member of the Social Credit Party of Canada.
In the early 1990s, he started writing on the theme of the New World Order and conspiracies hatched by secret societies, being particularly inspired by the works of William Guy Carr.
He founded the International Free Press Agency (AIPL, l' Agence Internationale de Presse libre), where he published most of his work on these themes, achieving some prominence with an interview on esotericist and ufologist Richard Glenn's TV show Ésotérisme Expérimental, in which he repeatedly warned his audience about the dangers of a World Government.[2] He was interviewed by Glenn a number of times up to 1996.
In 1994, he published Project Blue Beam (NASA), in which he detailed his claim that NASA, with the help of the United Nations, was attempting to implement a New Age religion with the Antichrist at its head and start a New World Order, via a technologically simulated Second Coming of Christ. He also gave talks on this topic.[3] Other conspiracy theorists have noted[4] the similarity of Project Blue Beam to the plots of Gene Roddenberry's unreleased 1975 Star Trek movie treatment The God Thing and the 1991 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode Devil's Due.
In 1995, he published his most detailed work, Les Protocoles de Toronto (6.6.6), modelled upon The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, wherein he said a Masonic group called "6.6.6" had, for twenty years, been gathering the world's powerful to establish the New World Order and control the minds of individuals.
By 1995 and 1996, Monast said he was being hunted by the police and authorities for involvement in "networks of prohibited information." He had homeschooled his two children, who were then taken away and made wards of the state in September 1996 so that they would receive a public education. He died of a heart attack in his home in December 1996, at age 51, the day after being arrested and spending a night in jail.[5] His followers claim his death was suspicious, suggesting he was assassinated by "psychotronic weapons"[2] to keep from continuing his investigations,[6] and that Jerry Fletcher, the Mel Gibson character in the 1997 film Conspiracy Theory, was modelled on him.[2]
Copies of his works still circulate on the Internet, and have influenced such later conspiracy theorists as American evangelical preacher Texe Marrs.[1] Some of his later works have been reissued by French publisher and conspiracy theorist Jacques Delacroix, along with others writing on the themes of Monast's conspiracy related work.[7]

Scientists recently discovered a mysterious object in outer space that, for a time, was sending out regular bursts of energy in a way that researchers hadn't previously observed.
According to an article published in Nature on Wednesday, scientists observed the mysterious object while mapping radio frequencies in deep space in early 2018.
They noticed the object was emitting a low-frequency radio signal about every 18 minutes for several months. The bursts of energy would last anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. When visible, the bursts were among the brightest sources of radio waves viewable from Earth, according to CNN.
Vice reports that the energy pulses were observed between January and March of 2018 but haven't been seen since.
Officials aren't sure what the object was, though they have some theories. Some suspect that it could be the remnants of a collapsed star or a "white dwarf" — a small, dense star that's typically about the size of a planet.
Others believe the object was a "magnetar" — a neuron star with a very strong magnetic field. However, CNN reports that typical magnetars flare-up over the span of seconds, and an 18-minute interval for flares would be highly unusual.
Though the object was thousands of light-years away, scientists were still amazed by the mysterious object's close proximity to Earth.
"That was completely unexpected. It was kind of spooky for an astronomer because there's nothing known in the sky that does that. And it's really quite close to us — about 4,000 light-years away. It's in our galactic backyard," Natasha Hurley-Walker, one of the study's authors, said in a statement to CNN.

'X particle' from the dawn of time detected inside the Large Hadron Collider

Physicists at the world's largest atom smasher have detected a mysterious, primordial particle from the dawn of time.
About 100 of the short-lived "X" particles — so named because of their unknown structures — were spotted for the first time amid trillions of other particles inside the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's largest particle accelerator, located near Geneva at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research).
These X particles, which likely existed in the tiniest fractions of a second after the Big Bang, were detected inside a roiling broth of elementary particles called a quark-gluon plasma, formed in the LHC by smashing together lead ions. By studying the primordial X particles in more detail, scientists hope to build the most accurate picture yet of the origins of the universe. They published their findings Jan. 19 in the journal Physical Review Letters.

"This is just the start of the story," lead author Yen-Jie Lee, a member of CERN's CMS collaboration and an experimental particle physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said in a statement. "We've shown we can find a signal. In the next few years, we want to use the quark-gluon plasma to probe the X particle's internal structure, which could change our view of what kind of material the universe should produce."
Scientists trace the origins of X particles to just a few millionths of a second after the Big Bang, back when the universe was a superheated trillion-degree plasma soup teeming with quarks and gluons — elementary particles that soon cooled and combined into the more stable protons and neutrons we know today.
Just before this rapid cooling, a tiny fraction of the gluons and the quarks collided, sticking together to form very short-lived X particles. The researchers don't know how elementary particles configure themselves to form the X particle's structure. But if the scientists can figure that out, they will have a much better understanding of the types of particles that were abundant during the universe's earliest moments.
To recreate the conditions of a universe in its infancy, researchers at the LHC fired positively charged lead atoms at each other at high speed, smashing them to produce thousands more particles in a momentary burst of plasma resembling the chaotic primordial soup of the young universe. That was the easy part. The hard part was sifting through data from 13 billion head-on ion collisions to find the X particles.
"Theoretically speaking, there are so many quarks and gluons in the plasma that the production of X particles should be enhanced," Lee said. "But people thought it would be too difficult to search for them, because there are so many other particles produced in this quark soup."

But the researchers did have a handy clue to work with. Although particle physicists don't know the X particle's structure, they do know that it should have a very distinct decay pattern, because the "daughter" particles it makes should zip off across a very different spread of angles than those produced by other particles. This knowledge enabled the researchers to produce an algorithm that picked out the telltale signs of dozens of X particles.
"It's almost unthinkable that we can tease out these 100 particles from this huge dataset," co-author Jing Wang, a physicist at MIT, said in the statement. "Every night I would ask myself, is this really a signal or not? And in the end, the data said yes!"
Now that the researchers have identified the X particle's signature, they can determine its internal structure. Protons and neutrons are made up of three closely bound quarks, but the researchers think the X particle will look altogether different. At the very least, they know that the new particle contains four quarks, but they don’t know how they’re tied up. The new particle could comprise four quarks bound equally tightly together, making it an exotic particle called a tetraquark, or two quark pairs — called mesons — loosely bound to each other.
"Currently, our data is consistent with both [structures] because we don't have enough statistics yet," Lee said. "In the next few years, we'll take much more data so we can separate these two scenarios. That will broaden our view of the kinds of particles that were produced abundantly in the early universe."

The James Webb Space Telescope is setting its eyes towards the Big Dipper.
Although the spacecraft is still months away from beginning its official scientific observations, one particularly bright star named HD 84406 will soon be the object of JWST's attention.
"Star light, star bright … the first star Webb will see is HD 84406, a sun-like star about 260 light years away," NASA officials tweeted on Friday (Jan. 28) via JWST's official Twitter account.
HD 84406 is located in the constellation Ursa Major, which means "Big Bear" in Latin. The Big Dipper asterism (or star pattern) is actually part of this constellation, and it's the tail of this furry beast. The star has a visual magnitude of about 6.9, which is too dim to see with the naked eye. To see the star, you'll need a telescope or high-power binoculars. Now that JWST has reached its final destination in space, the mission team is getting the next-generation space telescope prepped for observations. A bright point like HD 84406 provides a helpful target by which the team can align JWST's honeycomb-shaped mirrors and to start gathering engineering data, according to the tweet.
This star will play an important role for this specific purpose, but it won't be studied by the observatory once it officially begins its science projects.
"HD 84406 will be too bright to study with Webb once the telescope starts to come into focus. But for now, it is the perfect target to begin our search for photons, a search that will lead us to the distant universe," according to a NASA blog post published on Thursday (Jan. 27) written by Jonathan Gardner, Webb deputy senior project scientist from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, and Alexandra Lockwood, project scientist for Webb science communications at Space Telescope Science Institute.
