House Judiciary Committee Dems Vote Unanimously to Block Measure That Would Have Increased Penalties For Child Sex Traffickers
On Wednesday, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee blocked a measure that would have increased the criminal punishment for child sex traffickers.
The amendment, which was introduced this month by Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R), would have lengthened the minimum sentencing for those who have been convicted of “trafficking children by force, fraud, or coercion” – raising the minimum punishment from 10-15 years to a minimum of 15-20 years, depending on the offense. The measure also would have increased the maximum penalties for the heinous crime by an additional 5 years.
However, thanks to the House Judiciary Democrats, who voted unanimously to shoot down the legislation, sex traffickers will continue to get lesser punishment than they rightfully deserve – something the radical left seems to be overwhelmingly in favor of, especially among the leadership. Just ask Ketanji Brown Jackson, the newest member of the US Supreme Court, who routinely let child sex offenders and child pornographers off the hook with severely reduced sentences throughout her career as a US District Court Judge.

Former CIA programmer convicted over 'Vault 7' leak
The former CIA programmer, 33-year-old Joshua Adam Schulte, had “access to some of the country’s most valuable intelligence-gathering cyber tools used to battle terrorist organizations and other malign influences around the globe,” according to a statement released by U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, Fox News reported.A software engineer who worked for the CIA was convicted on Wednesday of federal charges connected to the Vault 7 theft of classified information given to WikiLeaks.
The Department of Justice called the heist “one of the most brazen and damaging acts of espionage in American history.”
Former CIA programmer, 33-year-old Joshua Adam Schulte, had “access to some of the country’s most valuable intelligence-gathering cyber tools used to battle terrorist organizations and other malign influences around the globe” and was convicted during a retrial in New York City. The Jury reached the guilty verdict against him in federal court in Manhattan.
According to U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, Schulte “began to harbor resentment toward the CIA, he covertly collected those tools and provided them to WikiLeaks, making some of our most critical intelligence tools known to the public – and therefore, our adversaries.”
“Moreover, Schulte was aware that the collateral damage of his retribution could pose an extraordinary threat to this nation if made public, rendering them essentially useless, having a devastating effect on our intelligence community by providing critical intelligence to those who wish to do us harm,” he added.
Schulte, who represented himself in the retrial said in his closing statement that the CIA and FBI made him a scapegoat for the public release of CIA secrets by WikiLeaks in 2017, which he called “embarrassing.”
U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman found him guilty on nine counts following a multi-day jury deliberation.
As detailed by Fox News, the Vault 7 leak revealed how the CIA hacked Apple and Android smartphones in its foreign espionage operations in an effort to turn smart TVs into surveillance devices.
Ahead of his arrest, Schulte helped develop the tools as a programmer at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Schulte maintains his innocence and said he was singled out of “hundreds of people” whom he claims “had access to [the information].”
“Hundreds of people could have stolen it,” he said, adding that “The government’s case is riddled with reasonable doubt. There’s simply no motive here.”
According to prosecutors, Schulte was motivated to leak the tools and confidential information because he believed the CIA disrespected him by ignoring his complaints.
Prosecutors argue that his response to the CIA’s apathy to his complaints motivated him to “burn to the ground” the work he helped produce.
Schulte is slated to face another trial over allegations that he possessed a computer containing images and videos of child pornography he downloaded from the internet from 2009 to March 2017.

Left-Wing Nonprofit Scores $171.7 Million-$1 Billion Government Contract To Help Illegal Immigrants Avoid Authorities
A liberal non-profit group has been given a taxpayer-funded government contract worth at least $171.7 million — which could potentially reach just under $1 billion — for assisting illegal immigrant minors in avoiding capture or incarceration by U.S. Border Patrol and state officials.
The Department of the Interior was the awarding agency and “The Vera Institute of Justice,” based out of New York — which supports the “defund the police” movement and has lax views on immigration enforcement — was the beneficiary.
Health and Human Services (HHS) had initially funded the contract back in March, Fox News Digital discovered, to “provide legal assistance to unaccompanied minors, according to a federal database.”
The deal is structured to last until March of 2023 but it has the potential to reach $983 million if it is renewed through 2027, USASpending showed.

A high-level U.S. Postal Service official appointed under President Joe Biden was caught during a child sex sting, admitting “I’m a pedophile” on camera.
Russell Rappel-Schmid, the Chief Data Officer for the U.S. Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), was caught in San Diego, California attempting to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex.
The PRC is responsible for overseeing the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) – which deals with mail-in ballots during election season – and Rappel-Schmid was tasked with running the commission’s data management and compliance with the OPEN Government Data Act.
While federal authorities have not yet confirmed the man in the video is Rappel-Schmid, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department announced that Rappel-Schmid was released from the city’s Central Jail early Tuesday morning after being arrested on Monday. His felony arraignment is set for next Monday.
Rappel-Schmid was reportedly in San Diego for a business conference when he allegedly tried to meet what he thought was a 14-year-old boy for sex. The People vs Predators group filmed the encounter, and Rappel-Schmid can be seen admitting “I’m a pedophile.”
He joined the oversight body under President Joe Biden in May and previously served as the State of Alaska’s first chief data officer. Rappel-Schmid also worked at the USPS Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) on the data analytics team and as an audit manager.

Ahead of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, DHS issued an alert on its National Terrorism Advisory Bulletin warning that anti-government” extremists” who believe the election was rigged are domestic terrorists who pose a national security threat.
Now, the CISA admits Dominion Voting Systems, the computerized election management systems that are used universally across the United States, are imminently vulnerable to hacks and are easily exploited by “attackers.”

Dominion Voting Systems have at least nine major “vulnerabilities” that can be exploited and leveraged by an attacker, CISA’s warns in its “Vulnerabilities Affecting Dominion Voting Systems ImageCast X” report.
The voting machines are “susceptible to forgery,” can be “leveraged by an attacker to gain elevated privileges on a device and/or install malicious code” and “allows an attacker to directly access the operating system.,” ICSA-22-154-01, the advisory published by CISA on June 3 states.
“The authentication mechanism used by voters to activate a voting session on the tested version of [Dominion’s] ImageCast X is susceptible to forgery,” cautions section 2.2.9 ‘ORIGIN VALIDATION ERROR CWE-346.’ “An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to print an arbitrary number of ballots without authorization,”
“The authentication mechanism used by poll workers to administer voting using the tested version of ImageCast X can expose cryptographic secrets used to protect election information,” CISA continues. “An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information and perform privileged actions, potentially affecting other election equipment.”

An investigation conducted of the Mesa County, Colorado 2020 election results indicates the election in the county was irrefutably hacked during the presidential race using the same methods outlined by CISA.
And it’s plausible that voting machines across the country were breached by employing the same techniques.
But the government is getting away with destroying the evidence, contends Patrick Byrne, former Overstock CEO and founder of The America Project.
DHS has “gone from saying it was the most secure election in history to saying the machines shouldn’t be used,” Byrne told the Gateway Pundit in an exclusive interview. The CISA “report outlines nine severe vulnerabilities in the Dominion election systems — and to call these vulnerabilities is a little bit generous. These are failures — failures largely beyond remedy.
