Instead of more realistic lessons in morality of operating for the good of society by becoming the unexceptional hero, like when you see a news story of people ACTUAL heroics such as a firefighter saving lives or bystander becoming engaged to help because if not they then who, instead of just vidya-ing on their goddamned phone, is through determination and sheer grit, instead of someone being special. The mythology gets warped by the art controllers. Is there an English word for someone that seeks to further societal goods and can become a selfless hero when called to act? If we have no word for it how can it be named and expressed favorable as a network of peoples?
