Not sure asking the Pope to forgive her sins is "completely wrong", but definitely wrong.

She would be able to confess her sins to any priest, and he would be able to absolve her sins. Granted, this requires at least imperfect contrition ( https://www.catholic.com/encyclopedia/Attrition-(or-imperfect-contrition) ), and God will not be mocked, but it's definitely doable.

Thinking that the Eucharist somehow "protects" you (rather than heaping condemnation on you), is just batshit insane, and requires a lack of understanding only possible if you don't want to understand the truth of the matter.

Does anyone know what the Pope is claimed to have said?

Yeah saw that. Honestly I haven't followed this whole thing very closely, been spending more time irl with Church stuff rather than this whole thing, which is, and has been, an epic time sink for me, so I don't really know who @ENTHEOS is, or if the transcript had already been leaked, and he's going to release the audio.

One clarification, lest people misunderstand. The Priest is acting "In persona Christi" (in the person of Christ), and the absolution has a very particular form ("I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."), just like baptism, in order to be valid.

It's always nice when you find people who are more Pro-Israel than "Pro-Military", or "Christian". Really helps when they make their priorities that obvious.

God will let you harden your heart, if you insist.

That being said, perhaps her bishop truly helped her. A lot (and I do mean a lot) of Catholics have been praying for Nancy Pelosi in light of her being excommunicated (i.e., formally banned from the Eucharist by her bishop until she repents). Here's hoping that the prayers work and she repents, and enjoys heaven.

No one has explained her getting ordered around by feds during the inauguration of Biden. Just like no one has explained the audio of Hunter accepting a plea deal that's on the White House YouTube.

Anyone who says they know what's going on is a liar, so it's just not worth worrying about for me. Whatever happens will happen.

The Church's political games are legendary. It is the one institution that satan would like to corrupt more than any other. However God promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against her. Who knows why Pope Francis took the meeting, and who knows what was said. I don't, and it's not really any of my business, so I don't really care.

As for being schooled by the Jesuits meaning that she has a good recollection of the catechism, unfortunately that hasn't been true for a long time. There's a reason they were almost disbanded.

>The party of anti-gay bigotry.

If you think you can tolerate degeneracy and build a country, you're a fool. Looks like people are going to try. May God have mercy on us all.
