I always thought that to be true, but no, the new trope is that the virus will mutate and become a more transmissable more dangerous & deadly pathogen
I reckon the MSM is setting up a narrative to support the release of some new virulent bio-weapon, possibly being spread by the 3 million zillions of refugees leaving Ukraine, etc
