US District Judge Tanya Chutkan has thrown out Donald Trump’s bid to keep over 700 pages of documents sealed from the January 6 committee, saying it is up to the Biden admin to block the material or not.

“Presidents are not kings, and the plaintiff is not president,” Chutkan declared, adding that “the public interest lies in permitting, not enjoining, the combined will of the legislative and executive branches to study the events that led to and occurred on January 6.”

Trump spox Taylor Budowich has already said the former POTUS plans to appeal the decision, even though Rep Bennie Thompson, head of the committee, has accused Trump of obstructing the investigations.

The Knightsbridge property at the centre of the Vatican’s corruption scandal is set to cost the Holy See $135mn after American private equity group Bain Capital entered final stages of a deal to buy it.

60 Sloane Avenue was bought using about $400mn in donations intended for the Pope’s charitable causes between 2014-2018, when two Italian bankers and Cardinal Angelo Becciu were among those who became embroiled in embezzlement charges.

Cardinal George Pell, who had originally headed reforms of the Vatican’s finances before losing his job on sex abuse charges, claims Becciu had blocked auditors from viewing accounts, possibly costing the chance to save the funds being wasted on the deal.

Market reactions have seen Country Garden Holdings' shares - considered the biggest fish in the business - plummet and then bounce back to an 8% gain.

To dodge the spinning debris, the 100-meter [330-feet] wide ISS will use the engines of Russia’s expendable Progress cargo spacecraft, Sky News said.

A Chinese test in 2007 that destroyed a weather sat, added more than 3,500 pieces of trackable debris into the orbit.

Igor Danchenko has submitted a plea of not guilty on charges he lied to the FBI on five counts during the John Durham probe into the Russia-Trump investigation.

Danchenko faces charges of being unable to corroborate or confirm claims made in the dossier of information he provided to British spy Christopher Steele of phone calls suggesting the Kremlin was involved in Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

“In truth and fact, and as Danchenko well knew, Danchenko never received such a phone call or such information,” the indictment reads. “Danchenko fabricated these facts.”

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said Sunday that he is expecting “many indictments,” arguing that everyone involved in creating the fallacious report is in “jeopardy.”
