‘Orgy of violence;’ Dutch police open fire on rioters
Police opened fire on protesters and seven people were injured in rioting that erupted in downtown Rotterdam around a demonstration against COVID-19 restrictions. The Dutch city's mayor called it “an orgy of violence.”
Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb told reporters in the early hours of Saturday morning that “on a number of occasions the police felt it necessary to draw their weapons to defend themselves” as rioters ran rampage through the port city's central shopping district, setting fires and throwing rocks and fireworks at officers. “They shot at protesters, people were injured,” Aboutaleb said. He did not have details on the injuries. Police also fired warning shots.

Canada, Mexico Angry over Biden’s Support for Electric Vehicle Tax Credits, Citing Trade Agreements
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/11/19/canada-mexico-angry-over-bidens-support-for-electric-vehicle-tax-credits-citing-trade-agreements/
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador came to Washington to meet President Joe Biden this week angry about his backing the Democrats’ plan to give tax breaks to Americans who buy electric vehicles.
Canada and Mexico strongly oppose the electric-vehicle tax credit, which the countries warn would damage their auto sectors and undermine the new United States-Mexico-Canada trade agreement. For Trudeau, warning U.S. officials about the fallout of Biden’s electric vehicle proposal was a top objective during his two-day visit to Washington
“We underlined to what point this would be a big problem for auto production in Canada,” Trudeau said at a news conference late Thursday after trio met. “We very clearly underlined our position.”
Politico reported that the tensions between the “three amigos” overshadowed the first meeting of the North American leaders since 2016.
When Biden was asked about the electric car tax credit, he said it might not survive in Congress.
“We don’t know what will happen in the Senate, but there’s a lot of complicating factors,” Biden said when he was asked by reporters about the proposal. “We’re going to talk at length about it, I’m sure.”

U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson announces retirement after almost 3 decades in Congress
Johnson, one of the longest serving members in Congress, had previously indicated that her current term would be her last.

Longtime U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Dallas, announced Saturday she is not running for reelection after serving nearly three decades in Congress.
“I have gone back and forth … the whole time because of the pleading and the asking, but as of January … the year after next, I will step down,” Johnson said during an event in Dallas. "I will retire, and let me assure that I will also recommend to you whom I feel is the best to follow me."
First elected to Congress in 1992, Johnson, 85, is among its most senior members and serves as dean of the Texas delegation. She chairs the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
A former state legislator, Johnson is known for breaking barriers. She was the first Black woman ever elected to public office in Dallas when she won a state House seat in 1972. She went on to become the first registered nurse to ever serve in Congress.
The decision Johnson announced Saturday is consistent with what she told constituents in 2019 — that her current term would be her last. However, since winning reelection last year, she had declined to confirm that, fueling speculation about whether she would reverse herself in recent months.
Democrats began to circle her seat as questions about her 2022 plans persisted. In May, Jane Hope Hamilton, a former top staffer for Joe Biden’s campaign in Texas, launched an exploratory committee for the seat, saying she would run if Johnson chose not to seek reelection. And last month, Abel Mulugheta, the former chief of staff to state Rep. Rafael Anchia, D-Dallas, announced an outright campaign for the seat. Jessica Mason, a Navy veteran and progressive activist, is also running for the Democratic nomination.
Johnson’s 30th District is set to remain one of the bluest congressional districts in the state after redistricting. It will also stay anchored in Dallas, spreading to the southern edge of the namesake county.

Iranians Hold Huge Anti-Government Protest After Key River Completely Dries Up
Rare mass protests have hit a large central Iranian city over persisting water shortages and continued economic woes which is fast creating a humanitarian crisis as farmers are losing their crops.
Thousands gathered in central Isfahan, outraged over government mismanagement which has allowed a key river to dry up completely. "Footage broadcast by state television and dozens of videos circulating on social media on Friday showed a sea of farmers and other people standing on a huge barren strip of dirt where the major Zayandeh Rud River used to flow, near the iconic Khaju Bridge in Isfahan province," Al Jazeera reports.
Lack of resources - which has of late also included gasoline after last month a major cyberattack disrupted a national program for state-subsidized fuel, literally taking gas stations offline for days and weeks (it was widely blamed on Israel) - has fueled sporadic protests for much of the past year, also amid rolling blackouts as the power grid has been strained to the max across major cities.
The current protest in Isfahan has been underway for much of the past week, but Friday saw the biggest gathering yet, gaining international media attention. Isfahan is the country's third-largest city.
Iranian officials have reportedly been under pressure to find a solution for the region's lack of water. "The key river has faced water shortages and droughts for years, and farmers have intermittently protested the lack of attention given to the issue. But officials have yet to find a sustainable solution to the problem," Al Jazeera notes further.

Navy Shipbuilding Contractor Suspends Vaccine Mandate After Workers Threaten to Leave
A Navy shipbuilding company has ended its vaccine mandate after workers threatened to quit and the Navy confirmed it did not require the mandate.
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), the parent company of Newport News Shipbuilding, is the world’s only manufacturer of the U.S. Navy’s nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. The company also serves as just one of two manufacturers of Virginia and Columbia Class submarines, employing more than 25,000 workers in Virginia.
Newport had previously announced plans to require all 25,000 of its workers to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8. The deadline was later moved to Jan. 4, to allow additional time.
The deadline has now been “suspended,” with the requirement ended.
“We have not wanted to lose a single employee to the virus, or to the effect of the mandate,” President and CEO Mike Petters wrote in a letter (pdf) to employees on Wednesday.
“Importantly, with respect to Ingalls Shipbuilding and Newport News Shipbuilding, our customer has confirmed that our contracts do not include a requirement to implement the mandate. Technical Solutions employees are in a different situation and face varied requirements depending on the particular contract,” he added.
The company continues to encourage employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccines, but no longer requires vaccination for employment.

Time’s Up Fail: Laying Off Staff, Halting Operations in Effort to ‘Reset’ Following Cuomo Scandal
Time’s Up announced Friday — International Men’s Day — that the organization “will be rebuilt from the ground up.” Current programmatic operations will end January 1, while laid-off staff will receive severance through March 1, the group said. Interim CEO Monifa Bandele is stepping down, leaving a small transition team and board to oversee the overhaul. The group didn’t say how many of its staff will receive pink slips but Variety reported most of the 25-member staff will be gone by the end of the year. The announcement represents a major admission of failure for Time’s Up, which was launched by a group of Hollywood celebrities in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal as a way to address sexual misconduct in the workplace.

MSNBC’s Johnson: Rittenhouse Verdict ‘Warning’ to White BLM Supporters — ‘Race Traitors’ Can Be Shot
MSNBC guest host Jason Johnson said Friday on “The ReidOut” that Kyle Rittenhouse’s not guilty verdict meant all white Americans who support Black Lives Matter can now be shot.
Johnson said, “Kyle Rittenhouse killed two white men protesting on behalf of black lives and got away with it. As a single most important thing to understand about today’s ruling, by allowing him to go free and potentially commit other crimes, this jury sent the final and loudest warning to white America about the dangerous rise of White Nationalist terror in this country. One I suspect will be ignored by leaders, politicians, and the press. Kyle Rittenhouse killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and faced no consequences because those men were race traitors. White men that have the audacity to protest police shooting Jacob Blake, a black man in the back seven times in his own car.”

Child sex racket busted by CBI ‘extends from Pakistan to US, shares videos on social media’
The racket, involving ‘5,000 people across 100 nations’, was allegedly engaged in online distribution of child sexual exploitation material for monetary benefits.
New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Wednesday arrested seven people as part of a crackdown on a suspected international online child sexual exploitation network. The arrests followed raids in 77 locations across 13 states and one Union territory, with two others put behind bars Thursday.
The raids, the CBI said, were conducted after the discovery of an online child sexual abuse operation that allegedly involves more than 50 syndicates and 5,000 individuals spread across 100 countries.
According to sources in the CBI, the nexus was engaged in the online distribution of child sexual exploitation material (CSEM) for monetary benefits.
The illegal operation, the sources said, came to the CBI’s notice about three months ago. Following “intensive intel collection and surveillance in the remotest areas of the country over a period of three months”, the agency conducted raids at multiple locations on 14 November, a source told ThePrint.
The raids in India were conducted in Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh, besides Delhi.
The CBI said in a statement that it had seized numerous laptops, mobile phones, and other electronic gadgets during the raids. The agency has lodged 23 cases against 83 people. While nine people have been arrested so far, the CBI source quoted above said more arrests are likely.

“Don’t Do It Unless You Are Ready to Suffer and Die” – California Man Who Died from the COVID-19 Vaccine Described His Horrific Pain and Suffering in Writing Before Passing Away
Michael “Mike” Anthony Granata of Gilroy, California, who turned 56 this month, suffered an unexpected death after he received the Moderna vaccine. He only took the vaccine due to pressure from his doctor. He soon developed multisystem inflammation and multisystem failure that even the medical professionals could not stop according to his obituary.
Michael started to feel ill three days after he received the Moderna vaccine on August 17. He was in ICU for several weeks and stabbed with needles up to 24 times a day for those several weeks, while also receiving 6 or 7 IVs at the same time (continuously). He described it as constant torture.
Many nurses and other staff have urged him and his wife to share their stories and to get the truth out to the public regarding the risk of taking the clinical trial vaccine.
In his obituary Michael shared his last message,
“I was nothing more than a covid vaccine human guinea pig and the doctors excited to participate in my fascinating progression unto death. I wished I would have never gotten vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, don’t do it unless you are ready to suffer and die.”

Rediscovered Native American remedy kills poxvirus
Herbal medicine used to treat smallpox in the 19th century found to halt viral replication in vitro
An old herbal remedy for treating smallpox that is thought to have been used by native Americans in the late 1800s has been rediscovered and found to kill the poxvirus. Smallpox has been eradicated, but the finding offers a possible treatment for poxvirus in the unlikely event of a bioterror attack or increased incidence of similar poxviruses such as monkey pox.
Smallpox ravaged human populations for thousands of years, but in 1796 Edward Jenner discovered that exposure to cowpox lesions could provide immunity to smallpox. This led to the creation of the first vaccine for a disease. It took some time, but in 1979 the World Health Organization officially declared that smallpox had been eradicated.
Historical sources suggest that in the 1800s, when smallpox still posed a serious threat, the Micmac native Americans of Nova Scotia treated the disease using a botanical infusion derived from the insectivorous plant Sarracenia purpurea, a species of pitcher plant.
Now, Jeffrey Langland at Arizona State University in Tempe, US, and colleagues have conducted in vitro experiments with the herbal extract and found it inhibits replication of the variola virus, the causative agent behind smallpox.
Although, natural smallpox no longer poses a health threat, there is a remote possibility that unstable states or terrorist groups could have acquired stocks of the virus following the collapse of the Soviet Union, which had developed smallpox as a biological warfare agent.
Vaccinations are still administered to at risk groups including researchers working with poxviruses and members of the US military who could potentially be exposed to the virus through biological warfare. But since the risk is so low for populations at large, it is hard to justify vaccinating everyone, particularly because the vaccine can have serious side effects. Developing therapies is therefore important in order to treat people if a bioterror event does occur.
’There is much scepticism on herbal medicine but what our results illustrate conclusively is that this herb is able to kill the virus and we can actually demonstrate how it kills the virus,’ says Langland. ’It takes this herb out of the realm of folklore, and into the area of true scientific evidence.’
The team made extracts of S. purpurea and found that it was highly effective at inhibiting the replication of the virus in rabbit kidney cells. They then looked at the replication cycle of the virus and found that the herb inhibits mRNA synthesis, halting production of proteins vital for replication. ’Other drugs are being developed against smallpox, but S. purpurea is the only known therapy that will target the virus at this point in the replication cycle,’ says Langland.
’The extract blocks early transcription appearing to have a distinct mechanism of action from that of two other antivirals currently in clinical trials,’ says Mark Buller, a virologist at Saint Louis University, Missouri, US. ’The results are very compelling, and support the need to further evaluate the purified active ingredient in small animal studies.’
’With smallpox, it is obviously impossible to see if this herb is effective in the human body unless a bioterror release of the virus occurs,’ says Langland. ’We are in the process of doing animal studies to confirm our results in at least this type of whole animal system.’

Naperville hospital COVID patient showing signs of improvement after receiving Ivermectin treatment
WHEATON, Ill. (WBBMN NEWSRADIO) – A COVID-19 patient who sued Edward Hospital in Naperville to receive the controversial anti-parasite drug Ivermectin, typically used in animals, is improving, according to his attorney, and breathing on his own.
Attorney Ralph Lorigo, who’s from upstate New York and has been filing lawsuits across the country to get court orders to use the drug, appeared before DuPage County Judge Paul Fullerton. Fullerton ordered that the patient, 71-year-old Sun Ng, be given ivermectin over the hospital’s objections. Ng had been on a ventilator and Lorigo told the judge, after five days of treatment by an outside doctor, Ng removed the breathing tube on his own and is no longer in intensive care.
The Daily Herald reports that Ng's daughter "feels this is a miraculous situation." But Joseph Monahan, the attorney representing the hospital, said the man’s condition was already improving before the judge ordered the controversial treatment. He said, "We continue to strenuously object to the false science narrative that is being given to the court without basis." Lorigo fired back, "The arrogance of the hospital is amazing to me."

BREAKING:Antifa Riots, Attacks Journalists After Rittenhouse Verdict
Yesterday, Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges after the Kenosha riots in August of 2020. Rittenhouse faced five charges of first degree reckless homicide, first degree reckless endangerment, first degree intentional homicide, and attempted first degree homicide as well as a weapons charge. After the verdict, members of antifa took to the streets and began rioting and attacking journalists. Andy Ngo Reports–
“#Antifa threatened & attacked @KATUNews crew in downtown Portland at the anti-#Rittenhouse riot. Because of sustained threats & assaults like this, most news crews don’t send reporters to cover the antifa events, leaving few who do at more risk”.
In the wake of the Kenosha riots, GoFundMe took down Rittenhouses fundraising page, barring people from donating to his legal defense. They offered a clarification on Twitter yesterday, saying “GoFundMe’s Terms of Service prohibit raising money for the legal defense of an alleged violent crime. In light of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, we want to clarify when and why we have removed certain fundraisers in the past”. GoFundMe donated $500 to Riot Kitchen, a radical left wing group that offers support to left wing riots across the country.

Dr. Fauci says 'hopefully' COVID-19 vaccine will be approved for infants, young children by spring 2022
Dr. Anthony Fauci expressed hope this week that COVID-19 vaccinations will soon be approved for infants, toddlers, and young children.
What did Fauci say?
Although it has been just weeks since the government approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 12, Fauci said that "hopefully" the vaccine is approved for infants and young children by next spring.
"Hopefully within a reasonably short period of time, likely the beginning of next year in 2022, in the first quarter of 2022, it will be available to them," Fauci told Business Insider.
"Can't guarantee it— you've got to do the clinical trial," he added.
More from Business Insider:
Pfizer seems to be the likely frontrunner in the race to vaccinate babies and toddlers, because its pediatric vaccine trials are already underway. (Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are also planning to trial their COVID-19 vaccines in young kids, but Moderna is still in the recruitment phase for children in the 6 month to 6 year cohort, while J&J has had some regulatory delays, and is still testing its vaccine in 12-17 year olds.)
Pfizer-BioNTech said in September that results from their clinical trials for "children 2-5 years of age and children 6 months to 2 years of age" are expected as soon as the fourth quarter of this year.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say that 605 people under age 17 in the U.S. have died from COVID-19. However, the actual number could be lower because that figure contains confirmed and "presumed" COVID cases.

Rittenhouse Verdict Raises Concerns That It’s No Longer Safe To Beat People To Death With A Skateboard

https://babylonbee.com/news/rittenhouse-verdict-raises-concerns-that-its-no-longer-safe-to-beat-people-to-death-with-a-skateboard
U.S.—As Americans deal with the aftermath of the Rittenhouse verdict, many are being forced to come to terms with the fact that it's no longer safe to beat people to death with a skateboard in America.
"I'm devastated. I'm terrified. I don't even recognize my own country anymore," said local concerned citizen Gail Piddlesnoot. "How have we gotten to the point in our nation where people can no longer beat someone with a skateboard, or kick someone in the face, or threaten to kill them without risk of being shot? It's just horrible."
The American Society of Communist Skateboard Murderers (ASCSM) reports that more and more of their members are dropping out, no longer confident that they can go out at night, burn down cities, and bash in people's skulls with skateboards unmolested.
"This sets a dangerous precedent," said Piddlesnoot. "It could be that in a very short time, we will no longer see gangs of marauding skateboard-murdering arsonists roaming our streets at night, and that's a very sad thought."
Experts are recommending that in the near future, for everyone's safety, that people who own skateboards just ride them for fun instead of beating people with them.

Sex Offenders in Colorado Will No Longer Be Called 'Sex Offenders'
By Rick Moran Nov 20, 2021 3:26 PM ET
The Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) has determined that referring to people who commit sexual crimes as “sex offenders” isn’t “person-first” language.
Instead, rapists, flashers, peeping toms, and other perverts will be called an “Adult who commits sexual offenses.” According to Denver Post writer Alex Burness, “Those who supported this change feel the ‘sex offender’ label is not nuanced enough and can impede rehabilitation.”
Woke linguistics! I’m almost as sick of the world of woke, as I am of covid. https://t.co/1WCNYXucw5
— Colorado Conservative ⛪️ 👩❤️👨 🇺🇸 ⛰ 🏕 🏈 🏌️ (@COS_Conservatve) November 20, 2021
Leaving aside the documented fact that most sex offenders will re-offend and rehabilitation is a waste of time, what could these people be thinking?
“This language in the committees I’ve been on seems to be the most supported of these options. … It highlights the active reason why someone is in treatment, and it doesn’t assume the behavior is over,” SOMB member Carl Blake said.
“Victims advocates, therapists, law enforcement that I’ve spoken with, along with all of the DAs I represent, are not in favor of replacing this term,” SOMB member Jessica Dotter said.
The changes are not final. There will be a 20-day comment period for the public to weigh in before the board meets again in December.
Apparently, sex offenders are offended about being referred to as an offender.
CBS4:
Derek Logue says he shouldn’t have to carry the label for life, “Referring to me by a label for something I did half my life ago is inappropriate and downright offensive.”
He argued “client” would be a better term.
Public Defender Kathy Heffron agreed, “It takes into consideration the uniqueness of individuals who are receiving treatment.”
How about changing it to “inhuman monster”? Would that do?
“I think this strikes a balance that honors the impact to victims and recognizes the current and ongoing impacts of sexual assault but also avoids the labeling term that has negative impacts on those who commit sex offenses.”
Jessica Dotter with the Colorado District Attorneys’ Council worries the change won’t end with the Sex Offender Management Board, “I’m concerned that the use of person-first language generally is an intent to remove accountability from offenders and to diminish the experience of the victims”
And we all know the absolute last thing any of us wants is for any sort “labeling term” to have a “negative impact” on a rapist.

The riots in Kenosha — and many other places — took place because Democratic politicans told law enforcement to stand down. Those politicians should be held liable for the resulting damage.

Hunter Biden’s firm helped China gain control of electric-car mineral: report
Hunter Biden’s investment firm helped broker a 2016 deal that gave a Chinese state-backed company control of a massive African mine rich in cobalt — a mineral essential for the production of electric car batteries.
The deal, first reported by the Washington Free Beacon during the 2020 presidential campaign, was spotlighted by the New York Times Saturday as Congress inches closer to approving President Biden’s $2 trillion social spending plan, which earmarks billions of dollars to promote electric vehicles.
In 2016, an investment firm founded by Hunter Biden with several Chinese partners was cut into a complex $3.8 billion transaction that transferred 80 percent of Congo’s Tenke Fungurum mine from an American company to Beijing-backed China Molybdenum.
President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden’s father, was the sitting vice president when the deal was struck.
The mine is one of the world’s largest sources of cobalt — and China’s control of the mineral “presents a critical vulnerability to the future of the U.S. domestic auto industry,” Biden’s White House reported in June.
A White House spokesman said that Joe Biden had no knowledge of his son’s involvement with the sale, the Times reported.

The Independent Falsely Claims Kyle Rittenhouse Shot Three Black Men – Then Quietly Makes Correction without Editor’s Note
By Cristina Laila

Kenosha teen Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts on Friday.
Rittenhouse shot three men, two fatally, in self-defense in August 2020 after a mob chased him down and tried to kill him.
Kyle Rittenhouse was called to defend property after BLM-Antifa terrorists spent two nights in a row burning businesses in Kenosha in response to an officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, an armed black man.
Rittenhouse shot three white men, but the fake news media reported that he shot three black men.
Even the British media lied about Rittenhouse.
“Full story: Teenager who shot three black men with rifle found not guilty on all charges,” the Independent wrote on its front page Friday.
The British outlet quietly made a correction without an editor’s note apologizing for the ‘error.’
A depressing example of how the British media misreported the Kyle Rittenhouse trial as badly as the US media. This is the @Independent‘s report on the verdict.

The largest media outlets in Brazil also lied about Rittenhouse and claimed he killed black men.
The largest media outlets in Brazil this week had to retract their articles on the Rittenhouse case because they claimed it was a case of a white youth having shot and killed two black men. They got this from the US media, which deliberately cultivated this false narrative. https://t.co/UXrzUaZ7Wg
