The McDonald’s Ice Cream Machine Hacking Saga Has a New Twist

The cold war between a startup and a soft-serve machine manufacturer is heating up, thanks to a newly released trove of internal emails.

Six months ago, a tiny startup called Kytch sued Taylor, the billion-dollar manufacturer of McDonald's notoriously broken ice cream machines. For years Kytch had sold a small device that hacks those ice cream machines, letting McDonald's restaurant owners better diagnose their maladies and make them work more reliably—only to find, according to Kytch's legal complaint, that Taylor had conspired to copy its device and sabotage its business.

Now Kytch's lawsuit has revealed another side to that story: the internal communications of Taylor itself. Recently released court documents appear to show that Taylor's executives did view Kytch as a business threat and worked to copy its device's features in a competing product—all while still failing to actually cure McDonald's ice cream headaches.

In the discovery phase of the lawsuit Kytch filed in May, Taylor has been compelled to publicly file more than 800 pages of internal emails and presentations that mention its approach to Kytch. They show how, contrary to Taylor's previous claims to WIRED, the company closely examined and sought to mimic specific Kytch features. The emails also show that at some points McDonald's, not Taylor, led the effort to prevent restaurants from adopting Kytch's gadgets.

"There was a concerted effort to not only obtain and copy our device and follow everything we were doing, but then also, when it hit a critical mass, to actually put us out of business," says Kytch cofounder Melissa Nelson.

The still unfolding fight began with Kytch's attempt, starting in 2019, to build and sell a device that could intercept the data on the Taylor C602 ice cream machines used by McDonald's franchisees. McDonald's ice cream machines are broken in roughly 10 percent of its restaurants, based on data gathered by the ice-cream-machine tracking service McBroken, and McDonald's franchisees tell WIRED that better diagnostics can lead to faster fixes. (Certain regions often have even higher rates of out-of-order machines: McBroken found that McDonald's ice cream machines in New York City were down between 20 and 40 percent of the time over just the past week, for instance.) The Wall Street Journal reported in September that even the Federal Trade Commission had recently asked McDonald's franchisees about the ice cream machines' frequent failure.

McDonald's responded to Kytch's growing sales by sending out a memo in the fall of 2020 to all franchisees warning them not to use the device, stating that it posed a physical safety risk, voided the Taylor machines' warranties, and accessed its “proprietary data.” The memo recommended upgrading to a new, internet-connected device called the Taylor Shake Sundae Connectivity. Even now, that next-generation machine has yet to hit the market beyond a limited test. Kytch describes the McDonald's message as “defamatory,” claiming it destroyed the business and left franchisees without a fix for their constantly borked ice cream machines.

Kytch responded by suing Taylor in May, as well as a Taylor distributor called TFG and a McDonald's franchisee named Tyler Gamble, who had allegedly given Taylor and TFG access to Kytch's device. The lawsuit claimed that by doing so, Gamble had breached Kytch's contract, and that Taylor had misappropriated its trade secrets. Kytch's cofounders told WIRED last spring that they believed Taylor had gone so far as to hire a private investigator firm to try to surreptitiously buy a Kytch device in an effort to analyze and copy it.

Now the discovery documents from Kytch's lawsuit seem to confirm Taylor's specific attempts to replicate Kytch's features, contradicting a statement it sent to WIRED in March that claimed that “Taylor has not imitated Kytch’s device and would have no desire to do so.” They show that in a May 2019 email, Taylor vice president of engineering Jim Minard—since promoted to chief operating officer—asked another Taylor staffer to "please buy a [Kytch] kit and provide me a written evaluation on the hardware and software." Minard added in the email, "Seems we might be missing something in our approach to our connected equipment."

Out of the 13 world leaders included in a release by Morning Consult, only four can currently claim positive net approval ratings - meaning that more people in their country approve of them than disapprove.

The exceptions are Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and outgoing German Chancellor Angela Merkel in addition to Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

As the COVID-19 crisis is dragging on, Statista's Katharina Buchholz points out that world leaders approval ratings have mostly decreased or stagnated at low levels in 2021. While the most popular leaders saw their approval rise in the past six months, sinking ratings turned net approval negative for U.S. President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The situation was even worse for French President Emmanuel Macron and his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in. Despite rising approval in the past six months, their scores were still among the worst in the ranking.

The international policing agency Interpol has elected a top Chinese public security official to its executive committee in the face of widespread criticism from international parliamentarians and rights groups.

Citing the cases of Uyghur activists Dolkun Isa, who was subject to a Chinese Red notice for almost 20 years before it was deleted in 2018, and Idris Hasan, who now faces extradition to China after being arrested in Morocco in July, on the basis of a now-deleted Chinese Red Notice, the lawmakers highlighted “long-standing concerns about China using leadership positions to gain influence in the organization, which in the past has damaged its reputation and reportedly threatened its political neutrality.”

“The candidacy of Hu Binchen is particularly worrying, as he has been known as the right-hand man of Meng Hongwei during his Presidency,” the lawmakers said in a letter to Interpol before the election.

Meng “disappeared” in 2018 while in post as Interpol president, only to turn up in CCP disciplinary detention. He is currently serving a 13-and-a-half-year jail term after pleading guilty to “bribery.”

“Hu Binchen’s candidacy and persona is exemplary of China’s attempts to abuse multilateral institutions for its own repressive interests,” the letter from the 50 IPAC members said.

Every morning after arriving in his office at the Propaganda Ministry, Dr. Goebbels would devote himself to the important task of disseminating a directive to all German media outlets, outlining what position on principal issues they were expected to take on that particular day. The media were instructed not only on what to say but – of equal importance – what not to mention. The system Goebbels set up worked like a charm. Under his meticulous supervision, in public discourse an imposing harmony of opinion reigned from one end of Germany to another, undisrupted by discordant voices.

One wishes that this mechanically imposed harmony, admired as it may have been by some, had come to an end in 1945. But a YouTube bulletin disseminated a few days ago reminds us that it did not.

YouTube users were curtly informed of the prevailing “Community Guidelines” on a topic which currently is at the top of the list of public concerns: The Covid-19 crisis. Here are the highlights of that guidance:

Will members of the Christian Science religious denomination, who since long before the appearance of Covid have relied exclusively on prayer for therapeutic purposes and avoided medical cures, now be required to alter their beliefs? Not even in the Soviet Union were believers ever made to face such a stark choice. To even the least sophisticated it should now be obvious that the thrust of YouTube’s guidelines is not to promote health but to steer patients toward the extremely expensive solutions that have enabled the pharmacological industry to make a financial killing from Covid-19.

That impression is strongly reinforced by the nauseatingly repetitious proscriptions that follow:

Ship's Captain Arrested in Spain on Suspicion of Human Trafficking and Forced Labor

Spanish police arrested the captain of a ship in Cartagena following the interception of a vessel allegedly used for the illegal transport and forced labor of migrants, officials said on Saturday, November 27.

Guardia Civil, one of Spain’s national police forces, said in a press release that eight Syrian nationals – alleged victims of a criminal organization operating the ship – had been released.

Upon boarding the ship, police said they found falsified documents that depicted at least one of the Syrian nationals as a crew member and that the ship was allegedly disguised as a merchant’s vessel.

They added that the Syrians on board “lacked training or qualifications for maritime tasks” but “had apparently been forced to work on the ship under exploitative labor conditions” over several months.

“Collaboration between European agencies revealed that the aforementioned ship would have changed its name up to three times, making it difficult to track and monitor,” the Guardia Civil said.

Thanks to this government-corporate collusion, today, just four companies now control more than half of the market in chicken processing (Tyson, JBS, Perdue, and Sanderson), close to 70 percent in pork (Smithfield, JBS, Tyson, and Hormel), and 80 percent in beef (JBS, Tyson, Cargill, and National Beef), according to one recent analysis.

Over the last few decades, as farmers sold their beef to these companies at stagnant prices, they have become upset after watching prices in the store rise while JBS, Tyson, Cargill, and National Beef pay them the same or lower prices.

In a recent article from the AP, they reported that federal data show that for every dollar spent on food, the share that went to ranchers and farmers dropped from 35 cents in the 1970s to 14 cents recently.

Naturally, farmers are upset and now, they are doing something about it.

Rusty Kemp, a cattle rancher in Nebraska, organized a movement to help other ranchers like himself break free from the corporatocracy’s grip over the industry. In an inspiring show of gumption, the group raised over $300,000,000.

“We’ve been complaining about it for 30 years,” Kemp said. “It’s probably time somebody does something about it.”

CDC Funded Study Shows No Significant Difference in COVID-19 Transmission Between Vaccinated and Unvaccinated

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID research team just published a study that concluded that there is no significant difference in transmission potential of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons infected with the COVID-19 “Delta variant” in federal prison during an outbreak between July to August 2021.

The study showed that there is “no significant differences were detected in duration of RT-PCR positivity among fully vaccinated participants (median: 13 days) versus those not fully vaccinated (median: 13 days; p=0.50), or in duration of culture positivity (medians: 5 days and 5 days; p=0.29)” among the 95 eligible participants out of 190, of whom 78 were fully vaccinated and 17 were not fully vaccinated.

The findings showed that “prevention and mitigation measures should be applied without regard to vaccination status for persons in high-risk settings or those with significant exposures.”

In line 336 of the study, it states:

n this investigation, we found no statistically significant difference in transmission potential between vaccinated persons and persons who were not fully vaccinated. Therefore, our findings indicate that prevention and mitigation measures should be applied without regard to vaccination status for persons in high-risk settings or those with significant exposures. In congregate settings, and correctional and detention facilities in particular, post-exposure testing and quarantine remain essential tools to limit transmission when cases are identified, in addition to other recommended prevention measures. Our data add to a growing body of evidence characterizing transmission potential from vaccinated persons. Future studies of transmission potential from vaccinated persons with infection, incorporating similar laboratory-based markers as well as evidence of transmission from secondary attack rates and network analysis, may help to further describe the contributions of vaccinated persons in chains of transmission as the pandemic evolves and new variants emerge.

The study confirmed that vaccinated individuals still pose a threat of widespread outbreaks when the virus is introduced into congregate settings, even when vaccination coverage is high.

The evidence that vaccinated persons can transmit SARS-CoV-2 to others suggests that there is continued risk of widespread outbreaks when the virus is introduced into congregate settings, even when vaccination coverage is high. In particular, because of the potential for rapid transmission and high prevalence of underlying health conditions in incarcerated populations, persons living or working in correctional facilities should quarantine after exposure to SARS-CoV-2, regardless of vaccination status.

This report is subject to several limitations. Due to the small proportion of participants who were not fully vaccinated (17), statistical comparisons on the basis of vaccination status were underpowered, and negative findings reported here warrant cautious interpretation. To increase the sample size of this group, two partially vaccinated participants were included, potentially diluting the characteristics of unvaccinated participants. However, our conclusions did not change when analyses were performed excluding these two participants. Similarly, only four participants had known prior infection, of which a higher proportion occurred in those not fully vaccinated; therefore, these participants may appear to have slightly greater immunological protection than those without prior infection. On average, unvaccinated participants enrolled earlier in the outbreak and later in their course of infection than vaccinated participants; we utilized Turnbull estimation in survival analyses to account for the possibility of interval censoring in this population. All symptom data was self-reported and collected at the end of the specimen collection period, which may have impacted the accuracy of participants’ recall related to the date of symptom onset.

AT&T, Verizon Propose 5G Limits to Break Air-Safety Standoff

Wireless operators said they will limit the strength of service while regulators review the impact on planes and helicopters

AT&T Inc. T -1.02% and Verizon VZ 0.27% Communications Inc. said they would limit some of their fifth-generation wireless services for six months while federal regulators review the signals’ effect on aircraft sensors, an effort to defuse a conflict that has roiled both industries.

The cellphone carriers detailed the proposed limits Wednesday in a letter to the Federal Communications Commission. The companies said they would lower the signals’ cell-tower power levels nationwide and impose stricter power caps near airports and helipads, according to a copy reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

“While we remain confident that 5G poses no risk to air safety, we are also sensitive to the Federal Aviation Administration’s desire for additional analysis of this issue,” the companies said in the letter to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel. Wireless industry officials have held frequent talks with FCC and FAA experts to discuss the interference claims and potential fixes, according to people familiar with the matter.

An FCC spokesman said the agreed-upon limits “represent one of the most comprehensive efforts in the world to safeguard aviation technologies” and the agency will work with the FAA “so that 5G networks deploy both safely and swiftly.”

A spokesman for the FAA called the proposal “an important and encouraging step, and we are committed to continued constructive dialogue with all of the stakeholders.” The FAA believes that aviation and 5G service in the band telecom companies have planned to use can safely coexist, he said.

Wireless industry executives don’t expect the temporary limits to seriously impair the bandwidth they provide customers because networks already direct signals away from planes and airport tarmacs, according to another person familiar with the matter.

Still, the voluntary limits are a rare step for wireless companies that place a high value on the spectrum licenses they hold. U.S. carriers spent $81 billion to buy licenses for the 5G airwaves in question, known as the C-band, and spent $15 billion more to prepare them for service this winter.

The carriers earlier this month delayed their rollout plans until early January after FAA leaders raised concerns about the planned 5G service. Air-safety officials worried the new transmissions could confuse some radar altimeters, which aircraft use to measure their distance from the ground.

At an industry event last week, FAA Administrator Steve Dickson said conducting flights in a safe manner and tapping spectrum for 5G services can both occur. He said the question was how to “tailor both what we’re doing in aviation so that it dovetails with the use of this particular spectrum.”

Saudi Prince Announces Oxagon, The World’s Largest Floating Industrial Complex

By Vivian Nereim (Bloomberg) –Saudi Arabia’s high-tech “Neom” mega-project plans to expand a tiny local port into a trade and manufacturing hub near the Suez Canal that officials say will compete with the biggest facilities in the Middle East.

The proposal is the latest eye-catching announcement by Neom, with progress on the ground so far limited to earthworks. About 12% of global trade flows through the Suez Canal.

The port will anchor an industrial city that Neom announced last week called Oxagon, Vishal Wanchoo, Oxagon’s chief executive, said in an interview. An existing port near the Red Sea town of Dhiba will be transformed to handle a container capacity of 3.5 to 4 million ton equivalent units (TEUs) by 2030, he said.

The project could eventually serve Neom’s commercial tenants as well as the broader Gulf region, Jordan and Iraq, he said. Capacity might extend up to 9 million TEUs depending on Oxagon’s growth, he added. Dubai’s Jebel Ali port, the region’s largest, has capacity of more than 19 million TEUs.

“We will develop a state-of-the-art port and supply chain system and we have a real advantage because we’re starting as a greenfield,” said Wanchoo, a former GE executive who joined Neom this year.

Announced in 2017, Neom is the crown jewel of Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s program to overhaul the economy of the world’s largest oil exporter. His plan to turn the remote region on the kingdom’s northwest coast into a robot-driven tech hub encapsulates the major elements of his so-called “Vision 2030” to diversify away from crude, loosen social restrictions and boost investment.

But the project has stirred controversy, including skepticism about its feasibility after some previous efforts to build economic free zones struggled to take off.

Oxagon — which officials say will eventually include a complex that “floats” on the sea — illustrates those ambitions and challenges.

The 50-square-kilometer (19-square-mile) area is expected to house 80,000 to 90,000 residents and 40 to 50 companies by 2030, Wanchoo said. He did not disclose planned spending on the project, which combines government and private-sector investment.

The first phase of construction, until 2025, will focus on the segment to be built on land, he said, with the floating area still in the “early phases of design.”

“We wanted to look ahead and say with all of the climate change that’s occurring and the rising of the sea levels, could we build a modern day Venice,” he said — “a floating city that doesn’t have to deal with rising sea levels, or deals with it because of the way it’s designed.”

Neom is looking at connecting Oxagon’s port with northeastern Saudi Arabia and the broader region first by road transport and later by rail, he said. Port operations with container capability will start in mid-2022 and expand from there, he said.

The project would rival the Red Sea city of Jeddah’s port in size. Between Jeddah and Oxagon, the kingdom is also expanding a facility called King Abdullah Port, which aims to reach a capacity of 25 million TEUs.

Superyacht Owners Have The Means To Act On Climate Change If They Choose To

The floating mansions may provide refuge from Covid-19 lockdowns and miserable winters, but no one is immune to climate change. As sea levels rise and extreme storms become more frequent, the uber-rich face a future in which their favorite playgrounds could no longer be fit for sailing.

At least for some, there’s a healthy dose of climate guilt that comes from owning the world’s most carbon-intensive asset. Or at least an awareness of the angst over the one percent’s gas-guzzling habits. Luxury liners aren’t going away — more than 600 large yachts are set to join the global fleet by 2025, according to industry publication Superyacht Group — but there’s a push within the industry to at least try and make the boats a little bit greener.

“Our business is pure leisure, it’s not essential, and it’s therefore expected to be as sustainable as possible,” said Pepe Garcia-Aubert, president of MB92 Group, which runs the world’s biggest superyacht servicing operation based in Barcelona. “Either we manage to do it or this won’t exist in 50 years’ time.”

Large scale zero-emission shipping is still a long way off, but yacht retrofitters can make changes on the margin even if manufacturers can’t yet eliminate pollution from burning fuel. MB92’s shipyard in Barcelona is fully electrified so most yachts can turn off their diesel generators while they’re docked. Spanish utility Endesa SA only provides electricity generated by renewable sources, said Garcia-Aubert.

If the boats need a new lick of paint, it’s done onshore. It’s a more expensive way to work, but far less polluting. Painting boats while they’re floating in the water means excess paint washes directly into the sea, toxic chemicals and all. MB92 installed a 45 million euro ($51 million) ship-lift that can hoist 4,800-tonne boats onto land. Another ship-lift will start operating in 2022 at its shipyard in La Ciotat, France.

In Barcelona, boats that are being repainted are completely hidden under a white plastic tent which prevents paint particles from being released into the air. The fumes are channeled into tubes, dubbed “washing machines,” where they’re mixed with water, air and ozone so they can be disposed of more cleanly.

Getting rid of the plastic structure and sheets has become one of the company’s major challenges, says Sustainability Coordinator Marc Hervas. MB92 is working with the Catalan Center for the Study of Plastic at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia to explore ways to reduce the use of non-recyclable materials.

“Recycling wood and metal is a relatively easy task, but giving a second life to plastic is much harder,” said Hervas. “The main problem is finding operators equipped to handle single-use material containing very high quantities of fire-retardant chemicals.”

One of the company’s goals is to fully replace all that plastic with aluminum. The material is flexible enough and easier to reuse. Other green initiatives in the works include using mussels to filter oils and biomass from the water near the port, and deploying sea drones to remove oil and fuel spills.

Customers also have another easy way to, theoretically, shrink their carbon footprints. MB92 is collaborating with Submon, a local scientific group, to help yacht owners fund projects that rehabilitate parts of the seabed so they can better absorb CO?. It’s a practice called offsetting that’s come under sustained criticism from experts, who say it’s often impossible to tell the true climate value of such credits.

To calculate the emissions impact of ships, MB92 plans to use a tool created by Water Revolution Foundation, a non-governmental organization that works with the industry. The software has been adapted to include the refitting process and give customers access to offsets.

Vienna Eleuteri, founder of the Water Revolution Foundation, stresses that it’s an initial step. An anthropologist who specializes in computational sustainability, Eleuteri says superyachts are a “strategic niche.” Their owners have the means to act on climate change and can influence the rest of the maritime sector.

“It’s an industry that can invest a lot of money, with the potential to become to the maritime world what Formula 1 has been for the automotive one,” Eleuteri said. “Like Formula E spearheaded research on cars’ electric engines, hybrid and hydrogen-based solutions… superyachts can do the same for boats.”

Hapag-Lloyd’s Rerouted Container Service Makes First Call at JAXPORT

Hapag-Lloyd’s European-US container service made its inaugural visit to the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) over the weekend.

The shipping line’s Atlantic Loop 3 (AL3) is calling JAXPORT’s TraPac Container Terminal at Dames Point for at least the next eight weeks to avoid congestion at the Port of Savannah.

JAXPORT representatives presented a maiden voyage plaque to the crew of the container ship Hudson Express during its visit to JAXPORT.

“With no vessels waiting at anchorage and two-way ship traffic to and from berths, Hudson Express was able to berth and begin working immediately upon its arrival in Jacksonville,” JAXPORT said in a statement.

The temporary addition of the AL3 bring an estimated 8,000 additional TEUs (containers) through the port over the next two months, or about 1,000 TEUs per week. The service calls Antwerp, Belgium; Hamburg, Germany; London; Charleston; Jacksonville (skipping Savannah); and Norfolk.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been actively promoting his state’s ports as alternatives to some of the nation’s top container ports that have been bogged down with ship bottlenecks and congestion, but some question whether Florida ports have the capability of moving the needle enough to “save Christmas,” as some politicians claim, amid surging imports. JAXPORT in October announced it would be offering incentives to any company that chooses to bring its business there.

Disney Cruise Mandates Vaccinations For Children

By Nikki Ekstein (Bloomberg) The days of bringing unvaccinated kids aboard a cruise are winding down. On Wednesday, Disney Cruise Line became the first cruise company to introduce a vaccine mandate for passengers 5 years old and up.

The policy applies to all sailings departing on or after Jan. 13. Until then, the existing rules—which require children to show a negative PCR test taken before departure—will continue to apply. Under the current restrictions, anyone turning 12 within five weeks of departure dates is given leeway, and it is expected that similar provisions will apply to 5-year-olds celebrating recent birthdays.

Though cruise lines generally require vaccines for any eligible guests, with unvaccinated persons subject to restrictions, no major cruise lines have indicated plans to follow Disney’s lead. Only one company, Carnival Corp., initially responded to requests for comment, saying that a decision to expand the vaccine mandates to include 5- to 11-year-olds would be left up to executives at each of its nine individual cruise lines.

Hours after Disney’s announcement, a Norwegian Cruise Line spokesperson confirmed that it would extend its current policy of only allowing vaccinated guests aboard, with no provision for testing. Up till now children weren’t able to sail.

“Given the recent health updates regarding the expansion of the age criteria to receive the vaccination, we look forward to welcoming these younger guests back onboard soon,” the spokesperson said. Pfizer’s vaccine was approved by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for use in 5- to 11-year-olds on Nov. 2.

Richard Fain, chief executive officer of Royal Caribbean, has been a vocal supporter of vaccine mandates and has said at media events that he expects to require jabs for all customers as they become eligible. No plans, however, have been put into place to expand the company’s current policies, which currently cover those age 12 and up.

“Disney Cruise Line’s new vaccination mandate for kids is likely to boost consumer confidence from the family segment, which has been largely reluctant to return to cruising post-pandemic,” says Lebawit Lily Girma, global tourism reporter at Skift, a travel industry trade publication. “It’s likely other cruise lines will follow as cruises plan to resume operations and sailing at larger capacities in 2022.”

It remains to be seen how the widened mandate will affect Disney Cruise Line’s operations, including allowing the reopening of such popular amenities as its kids’ clubs, which are still closed in accordance with Covid-19 protocols. The company’s spokesperson did not return requests for comment. For guests who prefer not to comply with the new rules, no-fee cancelations will be allowed until Dec 1.

Woke ASU Students Issue ‘List of Demands;’ Plan Rally Demanding Kyle Rittenhouse Be Expelled From School

The woke mob is relentless.

After Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal on all counts earlier this month, leftist student activist groups at Arizona State University have issued a ‘list of demands’ that calls on the school to immediately expel him from campus because they claim he is a white supremacist and a “blood-thirsty murderer.”

In addition to issuing their woke demands, radical student organizations like MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán), Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, and the Multicultural Solidarity Coalition are planning a rally this week to “get murderer Kyle Rittenhouse off [the] campus.”

Rittenhouse is a student at ASU, but he is not on campus and is enrolled as an online student. He has however expressed interest in attending classes in person at the school.

Despite him only attending the college virtually, organizers are ridiculously calling students and faculty to attend the rally in order to “protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

“Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed ‘justice’ system – Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims. Join us to demand from ASU that these demands be met [and] to protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

Absolute nonsense.

Even though the Rittenhouse case had absolutely nothing to do with race and no evidence was ever presented to indicate Rittenhouse had racist motives at all, the triggered students are also demanding that the school issue official statements condemning white supremacy and “racist” Rittenhouse.

They are also calling on the school to defund campus police and redistribute the funds to the school’s so-called “all-inclusive” multicultural center.

Keep in mind, this multicultural center is the same “safe space” that came into the spotlight in September after a video showed two black students demanding that two white, male students leave the space due to the fact that they are white. One of the unhinged activists can be heard saying: “You’re making the space uncomfortable … You’re white. Do you understand what a multicultural space is? It means you’re not being centered,” while repeatedly telling them to leave.
