What people don't understand is it isn't just the people who had their homes destroyed, its the community at large that is effected. I was in Joplin 6 months after the tornado, and still debris everywhere, were JUST getting some things going.. 6months later. I went to get a 6pack after end of my shift and had to damn near go to next town to get one, edge of the OTHER side of town to get one..
Utilities and water and all.. are all effected. For entire community.
