"Last night a group of Ottawa police raided a truck, smashed all the windows, drew their guns on the driver and dragged him from his cab in the snow and arrested him because he was locked in his truck and refused to leave. I have now been able to convince the road captains that it's time to leave Ottawa and we are not hear to escalate and we have shown time and time again that the government has escalated the situation at each opportunity. This is a win for us. We are getting the group moving now to regroup in a few separate downs outside of Ottawa.
We have contacted the police liaison officers to let them know we are getting everyone ready to get out of here.
