The wall is from front to back, steep slope, and there is a "STAGGER" in the foundation.. where a wall was prob.. 12'-14' tall, then dropped like 6' then went for a while, then dropped to 3' or whatever.. if you picture a foundation being fullsize+ on front of house, then having to get down to ground level on back of house, tiered, or staggered..
