NEWSWEEK: What Is Satanic Panic? Debunked '80s Conspiracy Theory Is Making a Return
Read this article. One of the best examples I’ve personally read of the Mockingbirds attempting to completely dictate a narrative. Dude self owns himself hard af throughout the whole article. Dismisses legitimate/documented/verifiable evidence and witness claims as pure speculation. Mentions of drag queen “groomers” and LBGT community being targets of all these baseless debunked conspiracies. Drag queens are just men that dress in something that is not what is traditionally labeled as male and reading to children..innocent not grooming. And apparently all that is needed to debunk something is for JOURNALISTS to question it? That’s almost as logical as one of his other gems where he dismisses results of an archaeologists report and findings in a case because of a JOURNALISTS (someone who is not an expert on or with any education in archaeology or related fields) writing of how a concrete slab (which ithe date of origin and age is also discovered and given by same JOURNALIST; because journallists have the ability to carbon date things of course) disproves his report. Can’t even really accurately describe it and too frustrated and angered by undeniable obvious intent of the article and their tactics. Even more proof of you read the comments; almost everyone calling him out and disproving him and providing corrections or context; and every one of those comments have 1-2 likes but 7/8/9 dislikes.
Great read. Ties in the “QAnon” association in the end also.
