For the Anon wondering where NIST is re: certification of voting equipment - digged this guy earlier today and lost the research. (shit shit shit shit shit) Found him in the USAspending.gov database when looking for something else. He got $$ from the government outside of the payroll system in Feb. 2009, just after the hussein inauguration as luck would have it, while he was employed @ NIST. Made a presentation to the Election Assistance Committee (EAC) in 2007 re: Voluntary Voting System. Now why in the world would an employee receive compensation outside of the payroll system and why would that employee have two addresses in the database; one in MD and one in NC?

Election Day Survey Release

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) held a meeting to focus on voting system guidelines and Election Day survey report. Members of two panels discussed public comments received regarding their proposed voluntary voting system guidelines and received presentations on the Election Day 2004 survey report. Other topics included the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) Title II requirement payments and an update on the EAC’s research and study agenda.

July 19, 2006 Voting Machine Standards

The House Administration Committee and the House Science Committee held a joint hearing to review new federal voluntary standards for voting equipment, which were issued late last year, to see if they are likely to improve the accuracy and security of voting, and to see if states are likely to adopt the standards.
