From my own research of the cover story, a helicopter, which was written by some shill you will see the flight path of the helo doesn’t match that of the missile in the photo. using the skunk bay weather photo and website and some simple google map fu you plot the points and estimate the approximate distance you are led to a very interesting and little know area of Whidbey island. The ammo depot located on the south east side of the island. Looks to me like there is potential for silos just by looking at google earth images. I remember reading the Whidbey island naval air station pr statement said that nothing was launched from the NAS, but this area is on the other side of the island from the base so maybe that was misdirection.
