Hey Tom I saw something earlier on chicken feed from Tractor Supply, thought I saved the article. Think it was GWP. Anyhow Tractor Supply owns Producers Pride, they changed the formula to a lower protein content. People were pissed because their chickens quit laying eggs. They all recognized the fact that hens slow down in winter, but figured out it was the Producers Pride that caused their chickens to quit laying any at all. Just wanted to give you a heads up, so far that's the only one that has changed the nutrition.
WOW! Same thing happened to neighbors. Was using for a few months, switched over to the feed at co-op. It was economics.. co-op is where I get my deer food too. Had to switch to a cheaper brand when mine almost doubled.. f that $20 dollar bag.. bet its more now.
