Anons are beginning to see thru that and push back more strongly - encouraging. But hard for an anon group to put up effective resistance - one of the reasons i was always suspicious of those who pushed for "anonymity at all costs": because it guarantees a random group wo/leadership (innate 'one-down' position). All the folks with the actual power (either legit or rogue) have identities - Jim, Ron, FJ, OSS, Barkeep (etc).

i had no persona before baking,

As digger, was not needed - emphasis was on the dig, was given a baker name by another baker - turned out to be useful for coordinating bakes and getting to know other bakers

Baking is cooperative work

 

Anons also acquire names associated with particular responsibilities - resignation anon, archive anon, etc. Often named by anons.

 

Some anons like to post particular messages or icons (SwordAnon). Most anons are pretty subtle - when they're not, they acquire a new name: "shill."

Lin Wood is impassioned but maybe too much so - might go over the edge tho if he's not careful. Smart guy, but may be getting carried away with his own 'take' on things - spurred on by religious zeal. Hope Sidney can keep him grounded - so far, she's been able to carefully channel her passion into constructive channels.

i lived in the south for a few years, liked it a lot - Southern culture
