New Chinese Study Confirms COVID-19 Attacks Testicles, May Affect Male Fertility

A new study has revealed that SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, infects the testicles and likely impacts male fertility. Recall in March we reported that doctors in central Wuhan raised concerns over testicle damage after observing a lowered ratio of testosterone to luteinising hormone (T/LH).
Now, nine months later, a team of 14 researchers from Wuhan, China have published disturbing evidence from a small sample of patients that COVID-19 not only infects the testicles, but may interfere with sperm production by causing inflammation and 'massive' loss in young sperm cells.
The team's findings on how COVID-19 infects testicles corroborates the March reporting - namely, the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds to ACE2 receptors, which are produced throughout the body, including the seminiferous tubules which carry sperm while it matures.

New emails show scientists’ deliberations on how to discuss SARS-CoV-2 origins

Newly obtained emails offer glimpses into how a narrative of certainty developed about the natural origins of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, while key scientific questions remained. The internal discussions and an early draft of a scientists’ letter show experts discussing gaps in knowledge and unanswered questions about lab origin, even as some sought to tamp down on “fringe” theories about the possibility the virus came from a lab.
Influential scientists and many news outlets have described the evidence as “overwhelming” that the virus originated in wildlife, not from a lab. However, a year after the first reported cases of SARS-CoV-2 in the Chinese city of Wuhan, little is known how or where the virus originated. Understanding the origins of SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19, may be crucial to preventing the next pandemic.

The Baric emails also show a NAS representative suggesting to U.S. scientists they should “probably avoid” questions about SARS-CoV-2’s origin in bilateral meetings they were planning with Chinese COVID-19 experts. The emails in May and June 2020 discussed plans for the meetings. Participating American scientists, many of whom are members of the NAS Standing Committee on emerging infectious diseases and 21st-century health threats, included Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak, David Franz, James Le Duc, Stanley Perlman, David Relman, Linda Saif, and Peiyong Shi.

Soros-backed DA George GascĂłn Seeks Reduced Punishment for Accused Cop-killer in LA

Newly-installed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón is seeking reduced penalties for a man accused of committing two murders in June 2019, including Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputy Joseph Solano.
Gascón was heavily funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros, and backed by the Democratic Party establishment in California — including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who withdrew his endorsement of then-District Attorney Jackie Lacey, the first black woman to hold the post, in favor of Gascón.
Gascón was sworn in earlier this month, and immediately vowed to stop the use of cash bail, to bar prosecutors from seeking the death penalty, and to end sentencing “enhancements,” such as additional penalties for using a gun in committing a crime, or belonging to a criminal gang.
As Bill Melugin of local Fox affiliate KTTV-11 reported Monday, Gascón’s changes include making accused cop-killer Rhett Nelson eligible for parole one day.
