Had some USN activity off San Diego. Probable one of the two was amphib, but youngest track is hour+ old now. There is the track for reefer vessel ORION, that I seem to recall is rather bogus and the IMO/MMSI has been used by another vessel after being caught using the numbers for a decommissioned South Korean vessel. Maybe the sailors are going to check out that reefer and see if she's real? Would be nice
Got gator-freighter #8 and #22, a pair of Arleigh-Burke DDG's. If there's a birdfarm out there she's not squawking. Could just be over-water dogfight training if there's Hornets in pairs. The days of old hulks for torpedo bomber practice are long over.
