I install tampermonkey extension and use loader.to script

it puts a little downlaod button under every yt video right on the page. Not sure of any security concerns, but it is easy and works well. Tampermonkey seems to be a pretty legit browser extension.

I have tested it in brave, chrome, dissenter and vivaldi (all based on chromium)
