The reason I'm saying it is every nation that's been toppled or gone through revolutions always go dark. Turkey, Libya, Syria. American tech kept those people communicating. Now, it's safe to say that China is allied with those in power and we're seeing the US create something similar to China's Great Firewall. Certainly nations like India or Thailand have their own social media networks… right? It's a scary thought to think that Google controls all comms on the planet.
Seems like he's laying low and playing it safe. Keep in mind, his entire career hinges on this. I wouldn't be surprised if he sells out to the establishment.
