Hard to type, tiny screen in the pitch black. No power anywhere, interstate closed due to power lines being down across all lanes.
Really disoriented, so sleep deprived but had a nightmare. I don't have them, this is strange. Was dreaming something forgotten when i became aware of someone fighting a shark. it was inside a room, not outside. i was in the room, there were others too. the shark was humongous. it was beached but was throwing itself around the room in its death throes. Randomly but with great force. This went on and on. Figures in the room kept kind of circling to stay safe but silently so it would not where each of us were. Both 'friends' and 'enemies' there, but all were stealthy. Adrenalin finally woke me up.
The symbolism isn't subtle. Something dangerous is dying. Have to be quiet, alert and strategic to avoid the death throes. In the end, a heartening dream but super scary.
windstorm was real weird too, came out of nowhere. outage is not from a transformer blowing, lights flickered in a way i've never seen, there were wild fluctuations for 2 minutes or more. the people here are mostly crazy, weather can manifest based on consciousness. pathetic fallacy except not pathetic - real. remarkable.
